About my college

I don't have any negative remarks about my college but one thing college canteen and college buses needs to be improved. And our college is very well know in South tamilnadu. Few things needs to be improved

The course curriculum is little bit older compared other autonomous colleges like PSG, Thiagarajar etc. Anna university needs to improve the course curriculum. Coming to the exam structure we have a semester based exam system. Per year 2 exams will be conducted.

Placement opportunities are little bit low compared other good colleges like PSG, Thiagarajar but not that much worst. We can surely get one offer letter. And our college will also give placement training to the students during the final year of college.

Our college will frequently conduct events like symposium, work shop, paper presentation etc. Every year college annual day will also conducted apart from these college day, hostel day, cultural programs also conducted

The fees structure is fixed by Anna university for both the merit admission and management admission. At the time of I joined the fees for merit student is 40000 and for the management student is 70000.now the fees structure was changed

There are different kind of scholarship available in our college 1.Merit scholarships 2.Govt community based scholarships 3 Minority scholarships Merit scholarship give to the students who are coming from counselling. Community scholarship especially for Sc/St students. Minority scholarships are give to the sourashtra people

We have very good built in lab facility and indoor statudim for sports activities.we have equal gender ration in sports activities. Every year our college will conduct sports day as well. Our cricket team is doing good in recent time. And we have cricket team for faculty as well.

My overall experience about my college is very good. Our seniors very interactive and they will share their knowledge with us. I never faced any ragging kind of activity and alumnis also very good.our aluminis are helped lot to get the students offer in their company

I got admission through counselling conducted by Anna university.the counselling will be conducted based on merit list First we have to send the admission firm to the Anna university based on the score what we got in high school they will call for a counselling.

Faculty of our college is very kind and friendly. In our Mechanical department we have 8 professors who have completed their Ph.d and 20 professors who have completed their MS. And we have plenty of lab assistance who are also very well knowleged in their field. So overall faculties are very good.
