Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are highly qualified with years of experience. Though the course is a little difficult, giving an hour a day for studies is sufficient. Every month, at least one test/quiz takes place covering the syllabus taught by professors.
Internships Opportunities
Summer internships and winter internships are available from the second year only. Many companies later recruit students through PPO placements. Students can contact professors for working with them on their projects.
Placement Experience
Nearly 100% of students are placed, with an average placement of 15 LPA. 40-50 students getting more than one crore in placements. PPO placements are also really popular here. Big companies like Land Rover, General Electric, Google, and Microsoft offer placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for the course are not much higher as compared to private colleges, and placements are enough to clear all the fees in a year or so. Fees payable is even less for SC/ST communities and EWS. Education loans are provided by national banks at a lesser rate of interest.
Campus Life
Campus life is great. Three fests are organized in a year, Techkriti, the science and tech-based fest; Antaragani, the cultural fest; Udghosh, the sports fest. Everything we can imagine is available through clubs and societies. Well-developed infrastructure for sports. All the clubs and fests are run by students.
Hostel Facilities
Only shared rooms are available, with double and triple sharing rooms. The study table is provided with comfortable chairs. Unlimited wifi, water, and electricity are provided. Food quality is maintained in the mess and canteen. TV room and TT room for recreation are available.
Admission
Admission is granted only after clearing JEE Advanced. For getting enrolled in at least one course through a gender neutral and open pool, AIR 9000 is sufficient. The exam is tough and requires a lot of time and hard work for preparation. Once the exam is cleared, 6 rounds of counseling take place. Once eligible for admission registration process is easy.
