Entrance Preview

This college is the best place for good students. I opt this college because for campus placements and good faculty. Taking admission in this college was my right choice.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, we do have internship. And we have industrial visits of at least two or more companies. We can have industrial visit for five days in a company. We can easily observe the company structural process and meanwhile get a good experience in industrial engineering knowledge.

Placement Experience

The Training & Placement Cell at MSEC aims to inculcate among students, the skills required by the industry. The training is a combination of learning and executing. To assist students in streamlining their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, we had scholarship facilities which were approved by the govt itself. There are also some private scholarships too. SBI bank had a student education loan facilities for our collage students by a simple process on the trusted approval of the college.

The Staff and students have unlimited access to a wealth of Information found in resources like books, magazines, Journals, Hand Books, Annual reports and the Internet. In addition, the library offers specious seating arrangements and a calm ambience for learning.

Every one is good qualified and well qualified professionals. The way they teach is good and we have lab faculty to take care about the poor students and lab work. Highly qualified faculty available. Simply all professionals at one place is MSEC.

LIFE AT NITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at NITK Surathkal are very good overall, and the EEE department consistently sees a high percentage of students getting placed-85% to 90%+ However the placement profiles and salaries vary a lot depending on whether you go core electrical jobs , software/IT jobs we students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester companies start arriving fro pre placement talks and tests ,some students also get PPOs done in the 3rd year summer internshis companies visiting nitk for eee students are: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SIEMENS ABB L&T TATA POWER BOSCH. My personal plans after getting degree is either get placed in a good company then later prepare for civils services examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The VTU syllabus was bit difficult to crack, but the course we good , it was a fun studing the syllabus, but the syllabus was not related to the placement, we struggle a lot to get placed in the final year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since my kcet rank was low I want a good clg so I choose this college I choose electrical and electronics. also I'm very interested in electrical department I wanted eee branch so I choose this Curriculum actually helps you to learn and solve real world problems since it's a core branch you have to concentrate on our syllabus. We get to learn lot of things also we have 4 labs there you can learn practically . In our clg they additionally we have lab Called skill lab there you can learn lot of things additionally . I feel they should add some programming language as subject in eee additionally even though we learn that in 1st year there should be continuous so . Even our colleges provide boot camps for 10 days every sem where experienced trainer will come and teach you but I feel that's not enough they have include programming languages as our part of curriculum. In internals they provide 1hour time for for 30 marks and sem exams 3hr for 100 marks so it's manageable .

It's GOOD

It's a private college, having no entrance exam but they take admission based on jee mains or Karnataka-based entrance exams. College has more students by management quota than any exam. They take more fees from those who took admission by any entrance exam. They took all my documents at addmission time - specially all the documents of 12th. The base fee was 60000 in 2018. They increases their fee 70000 in 2020. Department deals with each student about fees, even if they aggred for 120000. They are taking all the documents so later student can't leave the college in any situation. But overall If you want to take admission in 2021 then you should deal for 65k to 75k but not more than that. You should not dream that it's a big college or you are going in a great place, it's a average college....Read More
