Entrance Preview

I got admission on 10+2 basis and scored 75% in commerce. I opted this college because placements and faculties are good here. Admission process was based through Online admission form and It was easy process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like Marketing and Accounts in the course curriculum. No need of improvement is there as it is pretty good.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Galgotia's provide internships but I don't know about it.

Placement Experience

Yes, Placements are provided here. The average package is Rs. 3-4 lac per annum. Microsoft, Infosys, IBM and many more Companies visited for the campus placement.

College Events

Sargum, Business quiz, GU fest and many more events are organised in the campus. Yes, college fest are useful for improving leadership, sportsmanship, career planning and creativity level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition fees is Rs. 90k per year. Hostel fees is Rs. 1 lac per year. Yes, it is affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, scholarship is provided here. Upto 85% can get scholarship but don't know exact.

The corse BBA is related to the business and sales but they also have some unnecessary chapters or subjects as extra maths or science content in the course the curriculum that are needed in the course is related to sales but it is not in the college teachings

A beautiful life in Shiv Nadar University

Placement Experience:

The placement record for the college is average. As far as I know most students gets placed with high or low package as per their capabilities. There is a platform called superset on which students regularly gets information about job vacancies within companies and easily apply through it. There is Career Development Centre that have a bunch of career mentor who personally guide students about their career opportunities. I am personally not planning to do job after completing my degree. I would persue government job and therefore would like to prepare fro competitive exams like Union Public Service Commission.

Placements are not very good , 50-60% students get placed with the average of about 3Lpa every year which is not a good amount. Highest package is about 6 lpa and lowest is 2 lpa I will pursue MBA program after completing my graduation.

Placement Experience:

UP is a sugarcane industry and therefore companies like Balrampur Chini and some RP Sanjiv Goenka Group companies were the ones who came for placements in our 5th semester. 30-35k in hand was offered to BBA students. However one of our batchmate nailed it as he got 10LPA placements with DS Group and is headed to Lucknow for work.

Galgotias University is one of the biggest!!

Admission are mostly based on 12th score and because BBA LLB there are just 120 seats and still only 95 enrolled in 2021, I guess our college takes mostly anyone who applied. I applied online and two days later was called for counseling and that is how I got admission here....Read More
