Remarks

Only JEE MAINS is the way to take admission in this college.You have to be above 90 percentile from general category.But reservation benefit is there.If u belongs to SC OR ST category then you can get admission on 70 percentile and above.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because it provides us dual degree in chemical engineering and excellent internship started from 1st year in core companies. Faculties are highly qualified some professor are even gate qualified. Some have done PhD from IITs. And their teaching methods are very good.

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 92000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees will get decreases every year as promoted to next year. But fees here is quite high and there is no fess waiver seat. There is no relaxation in fees for reserved candidate. College will not provide you any scholarship based on merit or income certificate you have to fill scholarship form by your own. But they cooperate. You can get stipend in internship but it is not gauranteed.

Campus Life

There were no annual or tech fest till now as this college is new eastablished in 2018. Library is very good you can get every book related to engineering. All classroom are fully AC and smart board is there. Sports is also there and extra curricular activities is there. There is technical association which is run by only students.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the third year itself. In this placement season more than 90 percent of the eligible students got placed in several companies. The highest and average are yet not known. Several companies visited the campus with prominent ones being Microsoft, Dell, Xerox, Flipkart and more including several startups. After getting a degree if I am able to land a job the ok otherwise I will start my preparation for the defence sector or civil services.

So talking about placements then the placement trainings get started from your 5th sem onwards and you will be trained upon diff params and from 7th sem onwards campus drives gets started and around 30 companies visits each year and all the mncs comes for campus drives starting from pwc , Deloitte , accenture to tcs , infosys and ibm . So you will get ample opportunities if you have 60% score in your career

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

ICT Bhubaneswar best kept secret institute

The Institute of Chemical Technology Bhubaneswar Indian Oil Odisha Campus is a central government funded college so for btech+imtech admission the students need to participate and perform well in the jee mains entrance examination. Admission is through jee mains and counseling done through both jossa and csab. Admission process is obviously simpler than jee mains. However reservations benefits only applicable for admission and no other benefits like hostel and tuition fees deduction can be attained here....Read More
