To be eligible for this course you need to secure a minimum of 65% marks in your intermediate exam from a respective institute. There was no specific application form for admission, you will have to give the JEE MAINS paper and go through the UPTU counselling to avail of a seat. I had a general quota so I didn't receive any reservations but there is a reservation system for OBCs, SCs, and STs. It'd be much better if they take a PI round before the admission.

I chose B.Tech in computer science and engineering here because it is the only highly-paid course in my college. Placements are far better than any of the other courses here. Faculties are quite good and responsive. Mostly the teachers here are assistant professors who teach us the subjects. Their teaching method is not that impressive but if you pay enough attention to their lectures you can do good in your exams. Apart from the semester exams, there are two sessional exams, and one Pre-University exam that happen before the finals and internal marks are given accordingly. Semester exams are not hard to pass, you can easily pass them if you give much attention during the lectures.

Fess isn't very high, but is not very low either. The fee is average and looking at other colleges, it is affordable for average students as well. There isn't any fee hike during the course, and if there's any, that is very little. There isn't any specific scholarship offered by the college. Students fill out the UP government scholarship every year. Placements are average. The lowest placement is 3.4-3.7 LPA and the highest on-campus placement till now is 9-12 LPA.

There are many fests and events our college conducts. One of the famous events here is "Utkarsh" that gets conducted during the month of March. There is also a program for digital marketing and a growth mindset. Also, there is Google Developers Student Club which is a workshop on trending technologies. The library here isn't very big or spacious but you can easily get all the books related to your course here. Sometimes, books aren't available and students buy them from the market. The library is air-conditioned. The classrooms aren't very big but there is enough space and they are well-ventilated. Around 50-60 students can easily sit in a classroom without any discomfort. There are many sports events that occur at our college and when it comes to Basketball and Volleyball, you will get more support from the staff and facilities. Other sports are also there but they don't get much attention. Some of the clubs run by the students are, Technovibes, Social Club, Karmavesh, and IEEE.
