Remarks

College management is okay I won't be saying them good or bad It's just sometimes they make good decisions & sometimes we feel like, what have they done

Entrance Preview

SRMJEEE 2015 I scored average, I was feeling lucky to get cse here Just because of cse I took the admission here

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course structure is good, but if we see for research then no These don't focus on research Faculties aren't that great as of its main campus Also the main campus is great & far better than this These just focus on exams mainly Only a few professors focus on future, others just focus on the exams here

Internships Opportunities

Well yeah, college provide internships but not like it's main campus These took some students on industry visit to give some idea what's going to happen but except local companies, no other companies come here for internships

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements criteria differ from branch to branch For Computer science and engineering, placement is almost 90% Max package last year was 22k from this campus & 34k from main campus For IT it's above 85% Honestly I don't know about packages of other branches but yeah they're just decent Also for cse, packages are decent but there's a thing that at least you're able to get placed

College Events

3.5

There are lots of events in main campus Again here are a few events organised but still there are There's a sports event annually called Vajra Then there are lots of technical events here Then cultural events also happen Dance events, robotic events So I shouldn't be saying that there are not so many events in my college, but it's got pretty decent no of events here

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is obviously expensive according to me It's very difficult for a middle class person to survive it's fee structure It's around 1.8 Lac per annum Then if you opt hostel then currently it is 90k per annum, and almost every year they increase hostel fee

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't provide loan, but yeah you can apply for loans at the bank College won't stop you from doing that I have also taken educational loan from a bank I don't know about scholarships There might be for toppers

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio is good as this is an engineering college, there's not much difference For parties, there comes one hostel night once a year from college Cultural societies are pretty active here College organise workshops about once or twice a semester Economical status, well I have already told you it's an expensive college Middle class student would find it very difficult to survive here

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel is very expensive Facilities? Well, you don't get much But one thing that you're getting - unlimited WiFi giving very impressive speeds Food is like hell I couldn't survive in hostel This year, our college has finished building AC hostel Again it's damn expensive as this is SRM, and I can't say much about it because next sem would be the first sem for AC hostels Then there are PGs nearby which you can easily get under 60k for normal And 70-80k with AC Food quality is decent

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah, alumni network is great And seniors, they're awesome They'll help you with whatever you'll need. They'll guide you like elder siblings This is something different which you won't find in most of the colleges

Exam Structure

I like the exam structure as a person not as a student These take theory internals for 3 times a sem, practical internal once a sem Theory & practical external once a sem for both Exams don't last more than 12-15 days Exams are continuous, so it leaves you hectic not chilled out

Admission

I filled in form in January online , got the University brochure & admit card in 2 months Then I appeared for SRMJEEE on April 26 Result announced in the first week of May Counselling process was during 18-23 May I came to college for counselling with 1 Lac of DD, my admit card, score card & some documents of passing the school In counselling I got the admission

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is good for Computer science & engineering But I heard from my friends that for other branches, faculty isn't that much good Some Faculties don't even bother to ask students what's going on What did you do Are you planning anything? They don't focus on future, that's the only concern that student have to concern about himself To be honest, most of the colleges are like this Education is nowhere

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Mass recruiters like wipro, infosys, capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college.
