Remarks

I have enjoyed myself. The college grooms me for future. The environment is very much cordial. All the teaching and non-teaching staffs help us achieving our goals. Overall, I will rate my college as 7 out of 10.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE, I have scored 80 marks in AIEEE-2012. Though i can opt for other colleges in the odisha too, but MITM fee structure(which was Rs.66,500) at that time makes me to take admission in it. I was having interest in Electronics so I do choose Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Yes, the student which came are selected from AIEEE/OJEE, college provides scholarships for respective students also EWS students get special internship for completing the course.

Most of my seniors got placed in top companies like TCS, Wipro, Mercedes-Benz. etc. The average salary is 3.4 lac and the highest salary is 14.5 lac offered by Google.The lowest salary offered is 1.5 lac. The average and topper students got easily placed. Others had to struggle.

The cultural program makes each and every student in my college happy and curious to know about new technologies. MITM colleges makes every students happy by organizing tech fest, annual festivals time to time. Tech fest which generally happens in the month of November & December makes you aware of Robotics,NFS, counter strike,etc. And Annual festival makes each and every students a chance to grow by dancing programs, Ramp walk, Guitar , singing, etc. And last but not least DJ nights are to watch when each and every student fills with colors and joy.

Fee structure is feasible as compared to other expensive colleges in odisha. 1st year- 80,000/- college fees + 48,000/- fooding and lodging 2nd year- 66,500/- college fees + 48,000/- fooding and lodging 3rd year- 66,500/- college fees + 48,000/- fooding and lodging 4th year- 66,500/- college fees + 48,000/- fooding and lodging.

Life in MITM college is much much better than other colleges.Campus has well-stocked library, replete with the latest and most sought after books, National Journals, International Journals & e- journals. Accordingly, we ensure that our modern and hi-tech library is kept updated with latest information and learning tools to enhance student learning.

Hostel Facilities

The campus life at MITM hostel is a home away from home…. Separate hostels are provided for Boys and Girls. Each room of the hostel is provided with adequate facilities to make them feel like home. There are three hostels for Boys and One for Girls. MITM hostels are provided with: Attached toilet in each room. 24 hours Electricity and Water. 24 hours Security. Airy and well furnished rooms.

Exam Structure

Yes, the exams in MITM are in frequent basis according to the BPUT university. The exams surrounding is also very good. You can enjoy giving exams with your colleagues as the course were complete by the faculties in time. There is no provisions for cheats as faculties and externals are very strict here.

Admission

Admission in MITM seems to be an easy thing. First you have to show your ranks of competitive exams like AIEEE/OJEE along with original/xerox copy of 12th,10th mark-sheet and CLC/SLC(school/college leaving certificates). They will refer you to the nodal center, after full verification you will be allotted the college.

Faculty

The college faculty in this college is very good. If you have a keen to knowledge, they will acquire you with sincerity,discipline, and passionate about achieving your goals. The college faculties are also friendly and understand each and gives attention to each and every student either its topper or bottom level students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

From 6th semester onwards wards students are eligible for campus placement.it provides 100% placement guaranteed to the students who were eligible and sit for the placement drive. Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.
