Remarks

The admission test for entrance to IIT BHU is the Joint entrance examination (JEE ADVANCED). You will be eligible for this examination after qualifying for the cutoff percentile in Jee mains. You will find the application on the NTA site.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is B Tech. In Electronics Engineering. I opt for this course because I don't have any better option other than this. Mainly because of placement reason I chose this course. The placement in the circuital branch is quite good.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for one semester is around 1.2 lac and the gross annually is 2.5 lac. This fee is for only General and OBC category students only of whose parents' income is more than 5 lac per annum. There are various scholarships available for students.

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest of our college is Kashiyatra. Tech fest is Technex. The sports meet is Sparda. This is a major important fest organized in our college. They have a good sponsor. Marketing is very good.

Best College at low fees

Placement Experience:

the placement rate is was very good until 2000 2023 as it was 80,00,000 LPA was the highest package show in the campus but from 2024 and 2025 no placement data has been recorded and wasn't uploaded till now from the official site of the Kamla Nehru Institute of technology technology I don't know what the placement cell is doing on the behalf of the placement but it's on college it doesn't matter it depends on the strength of the student how well and how skill C has developed create his own carrier

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you. One thing I would like to improve in the admission process is that we should be given proper instructions before filling the josaa counseling....Read More
