I was unable to enjoy my college life because of lot of stress I had to face in my studies. I feel insensitive and stubborn college management behind it. They were earning a lot on the grounds of "Development Fund" but were not improving infrastructure of

Entrance Preview

I Choose this College by just it's Big name. Entrance was done on XII th Marks basis through Management Quota with a heavy Donation. Now things are little better and transparent.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course was revised by Mumbai University in 2003 but College infrastructure was very poor to be implemented. No proper Practicals facility was there.

Internships Opportunities

I had managed internship with my own sources. In those time no Company used to come in our college. Our College was very backward and infamous.

Placement Experience

No such things were there at those time. We had to look out for jobs on our own.

College Events

We were little good on that front. Our 2-3 days Annual fest IGNITE was quite popular. Fashion Show and Comedy Act was a big hit. Participation was good but only limited to our college teams only.

Fees and Financial Aid

No such scholarships were available nor I am aware of.

Campus Life

Females students were few (1:4). In our class we had students from J&K, Punjab, UP, Delhi, Bihar, Gujarat, Northeast, AP, MP, TN, WB. There was no political inclinations in our college. Ragging was in a control.

Hostel Facilities

No college hostel. We used to stay in rented accommodation on our own. 1BHK, 2BHK flats were available for rent of 2500/- pm & 4000/- pm resp. 4 to 8 students used to share these flats.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Our some seniors were good and supportive. Me too was helped and guided a lot in my studies and other issues by these noble lives. I am grateful to them.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Very good Education at Very low fees.

I choose this college as it was offering my desired course at very reasonable fees also the faculties and education is very good here,it has a very small campus and playground as compared to few other colleges in navi mumbai but i would say that okay if you just want good education , also the main event of the college happens in cidco vashi.and the admission process is straight forward if you wanna take admission throught cap just have to apply online and confirm admission in college after approvel....Read More
