Remarks

For entering this medical college then you need to apply for the National eligibility entrance test and u have to score a good mark. the application form details and all are given in the respective admission letter .yes there are reservation benefits like if you are from any reserved category you can get admission with fewer marks than the general category students and you are eligible to get scholarships and so on. the admission process is good and I wish there should be an extension of dates of joining cause 250 students are admitting every year and there is no right time slot to get admitted.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

First of all the course here is according to NMC guidelines and the faculty were instructed to follow that. I opted for this course as I have a great passion to serve this society and while coming to details about the faculty and student ratio there were more than 3 main HODs and respective PGs here to guide the students and observe their studies. the professors here were highly qualified and every one of them has decades of teaching experience. internal exams are conducted and they help us to rectify our mistakes and they are a bit difficult to get pass mark and If we try then it's not a that difficult thing.

Internships Opportunities

4

Every government college provides the students with a stipend of around 25000. Osmania is one of the colleges that have more than 10 hospitals affiliated with it. so one can guess how much patient outflow is here. so there is no need to go to other college hospitals for our internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

Campus placements here are the postings we get after completing 4 years of a medical degree. we will get postings in our same hospitals and if we want to go to any other hospitals for an internship we need to pay fees. every passed-out student can get an option to get an internship and there is no fee for that. my plans are nothing but to complete my MBBS degree and crack a decent PG seat.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is less as this is a government college and u don't need to have lakhs of money to get admitted to this college .there are many scholarships like E pass, and so on they will provide you with a certain amount to have all the needs in our college and hostel too .they will also provide fees reimbursement.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest here is called Beats .this fest is held in September or October every year. many professors suggested books are available in our library. classrooms are okay as this is a government college you cannot expect any air conditioner here and fans are working in a good condition. sports are also given great importance along with studies. basketball tournaments are held in this college. OMC CARES, and ROTARACT are some of the clubs in our college.

Hostel Facilities

4

First years are allotted dorms and next years you are given rooms. mess is quite affordable for a middle-class person and they will provide varieties of dishes .mess quality is also good. for hostel registration, you have to get one affidavit on no ragging and parents' consent if any type of ragging is done and actions are taken .pgs are also available but in a hostel, we can get all the accommodation so no need to go to pgs as I think.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is PRETTY big. Its really big, actually. Sometimes its hard to handle, because of its bulk, some of it is relevant some of it is not, in the clinical applications but you have to study that to jncrease your knowledge, while the exams are focused on a few important topics out of the curriculum, thoee topics are meant to be focused on, more as they carry more clinical importance than the others.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is made according to our ability to grasp when we come out of our board exams. The first year might be considered a little touch but it in general is quite different and I personally enjoy studying it . Exams are a bit stressful but if a person has already studied then the tension gets distributed and it feels like nothing.
