Jee. I took btech automobile branch solely because of my interest in it. The chances this institution provides for showing your talent is laudable.The admission process is quite simple and all the necessary infos needed will be circulated before hand with assistance if required
Course Curriculum Overview
It is well above I expected. The teachers out here help if you are really into it. They provide full assistance and will guide you throughout.Even they will guide you to some companies or some other colleges for research purpose. The students can approach a teacher related to any research anytime freely.
Internships Opportunities
No personally they donot provide internship. You can approach a company with your C/V and you can get a LOC.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities and placements out here depends really on how you have utilized your 4 years in college. Many core companies visits such as Wipro, Tcs, Ashok Leyland,Hyundai,etc. The average package offered varies around 5 to 6 lakhs per annum.
College Events
There are many fests celebrated in this college such as aarush,milan being the major. Participation in all these fests are in huge numbers irrespective of which year students are studying. Even people from other colleges are invited to visit the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure depends on which course you are doing.Since the college is from private sector the allover fees structure is obviously on the higher side.But seeing the opportunities they provide, it is feasible. For automobile engineering its about 1,85000 in indian currency.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the college provides scholarships to the students who have secured above 95% in pcm. But for continuation of this scholarship student needs to maintain 9 cgpa throughout. Other scholarships provided are related to sports.
Campus Life
The extra curricular activities are awesome. The cultural society is quite helpful to fulfill one's dream. The gender ratio out here is almost 60 to 40 former being boys and latter being girls. Theres is no ragging problem in this college.This is taken in care my the college authorities itself.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities and mess food is average and sometimes its goes below average specially with the quality of food they provide. The accommodation provided is impressive however. Atleast 6000 students are staying in hostel blocks which i guess is quite remarkable.
Alumni/Alumna
The interaction between college seniors has really helped a lot. The seniors are quite helpful and they donot hesitate to tell or share the knowledge they have and pass on to you. They are quite friendly and informative.
Exam Structure
Yes, the frequency of exams in thus college is mire than what is normally seen in other colleges. It gets really difficult to cop up if every thing is nt planned. Specially exams nearing, it gets tough to maintain that composure. Labs exams are however not so frequent.
Admission
I got admission through srmjee. The process is filling up the form after 12th examination. Next step is counselling according to the date provided by them. The email id provided while submission of form is important. The required infis are passed through that email id
Faculty
The standards of the faculty varies depending on which subject they teach. If they teach on subjects which they are specialized in than you cannot expect better than this. Being specific the teachers in automobile department are quite informative and helpful a few of them being exceptions.
