Remarks

I am admitted to Bcom in this college. The basic eligibility was to pass PU with a minimum of 60 per cent from any PU board permitted by Mangalore university. I got an application on Google form and was admitted after the college informed me.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like Accounts therefore I choose Bcom. There is an average of 1 faculty for 18 students. All faculties completed M.Com.Teaching is good. The college conducts an internal exam once a month. It is a moderate exam.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in this college are low compared to other colleges. They need to support students from a village background. I got a scholarship from the Government of Karnataka as Raita Nidhi Scholarship which is five thousand rupees.

Campus Life

The college conducts a departmental fest every year. As I am a commerce student I participate in Commerce fest conducted by commerce fest. The library contains many books about different subjects. Every classroom contains Fans, a Bench, Desks, and bulbs. The College sports department encourages every sportsman. I participate in the Redcross unit of the college.

The college provides placements from various top notch companies like Deloitte, EY, Tanishq, Titan , Wipro and more. The Average package is 5 lakhs and most students get placed. Whoever doesn't, they choose to study further .

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.
