Remarks
To get admission to the BDS course we must give the NEET exam. The NEET exam is conducted once a year. The eligibility must be 60% in PCB in the 12th class. The exam is conducted by NTA and the form for the exam is online. The exams are taken in the offline form at different centers in different cities. The NEET exam provides admission in many courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and many more courses based on merit. The colleges are alloted on the all-India quota basis and state quota basis. Reservation systems are also available and divided into categories such as general, obc, sc,st, physical handicap, and economically backward class. The process is long and time-consuming.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is mainly based on both practical and theoretical knowledge. The reason to chose this course is mainly that this is a respectable job and also provides us with a sufficient amount of money on settling. The faculty is highly qualified and selected by the government procedure. The teaching methods are good and mainly focus on practical knowledge. The exams are only once in a year and the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides 6 monthly internships in its own government hospital. No companies come from outside to provide internship offers. The college also provides a stipend to each student every month. You can practice in the hospital under the PGs or Residential Doctors. This internship provides a good experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee per year for the course is 47 thousand. And the hostel fee is approx 20 thousand per year. The fees are comparatively high for the course than in many colleges. The college provides no scholarships but on the basis of state government policies, there are scholarships that are mainly based on the economic status of the family.
Campus Life
The annual fest for the university is AMSCON which is held once a year. The library is fully furnished and has approx all the books that are required during the course. Sports activities are held on college campuses from time to time. The extracurricular activities are held approx on any special occasion. There are many social groups and clubs on campus based on the different interests of the students.
