Course Curriculum Overview

Actually, in medical collages, the faculty is quite strict. We need to have our work approved and this is not an easy task for everyone. However, the faculty members are well-educated and have Taken higher degrees of post-graduation. The faculty-student ratio is quite low. They use different teaching methods. Like presentation methods or board teaching. Exams occur annually. And passing is also not an easy task.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is of 6 months having a lot of patient practice. Interns get a stipend of rupees 25000 per month in paid. The workload is very much on an intern Intern students have to do patient for the complete working day and also supervise the juniors.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess is not very much since it is a government dental college. Combined hostel and collage fees vary from 66k-67k. Certain scholarships are also provided in the collage-like. PMS post matric scholarship for the reserved category candidates. For an internship, the stipend is given approximately 23000-25000 per month.

Campus Life

Apart from academics, there is a social life too in colleges. Many fests are conducted in pgi. One of them is ARMSCON..biggest ug fest. Apart from the university-level fests, there are other hostel-level fests and collage level fests There are inter-college competitions

Hostel Facilities

In hostels, we get average rooms having one or two almirahs. Table chair beds are provided. Hostel registration is a physical process done in the hostel only Fans are available The balcony is also provided with the room Mess food is very hygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dentistry is more often chosen course after mbbs As it was World wide accepted degree So you can go anywhere in other countries after bds and you will get good salary minimum 75lakh to maximum 3 crore and if you have ability to setup clinic so you can easily get up upto 1 lakh per month easily

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are some subject which are going to be common with mbbs physiology and anatomy and biochemistry and also they are most difficult in whole course. The timing of classes are 8.10am to 3.40 pm.(extendable). You get a daily practical period of any one subject. You get 3 to 4 assignment every week and given time for each assignment is 1 week.

Pros/Cons of choosing the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bds as there ar no emergency patients as compared to MBBS. If you can establish your own clinic you can earn a handsome money. You can be your own boss. The student ratio is also very good in our college. The faculties are very much educated and supportive. Though the studies are little hard still you can pass exams easily if you study hard. The exams are on time and the teacher will guide you very well for exams.

Placement Experience:

I am a BDS student so for us right after finishing our BDS we are eligible to practice ourselves. Now it is on you whether to go for MDS or not, or whether to move abroad for your practice, we have our internships in the 5th year where we are taught how to deal with patients in real life so our journey starts right from our internships, a lot of fresh Doctors who have passed out from this college are doing great in life. I have a clear set of thoughts in chronological sequence as to this would be my way forward which includes doing MDS and going for opening my own clinic after which I shall move abroad for my practice.

I applied to all the government medical colleges of Haryana, chose this college because of the high reputation, abundant opd and decades old legacy! It is undisputed that pgims is the best college of haryana , however one can choose newer colleges for better infrastructure.
