Remarks

NEET(UG) is the entrance exam for admission to MBBS according to rank. Application forms can be filled out online mode on the official website of NTA. After the result, the admission process starts. There is an All India Quota(25%) and State Quota(75%) in every college. Counseling is separate for both of these. Counseling is in three rounds. Colleges are filled according to preference and at the end of each round (if) you get into a college, it's up to you if you want to take admission to that or not. Then, there is document verification, and after you have to deposit the fee(tuition + hostel).

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I always wanted to become a doctor. Although the curriculum is very vast and there is so much to learn. The faculty here is so helpful and we enjoy learning from them, especially in clinical postings.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 57000 per year

Internships Opportunities

At the end, of the course, 1 year long paid internship is compulsory for every student. This internship period is very hectic and you are posted in every department of the hospital also 3 months of rural posting is included in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure: Tuition fees: 57000 (approx.)/year, Hostel fees: 23000(approx.)/year, Total duration of MBBS: 5.5 years(4.5 years course + 1 year paid internship), Total fees : 70000(approx) *4 = 280000.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good. There is a park, sports ground, canteens, etc. We hang out most of the time there. The library has many books and journals related to medical sciences, and there are also novels of different genres available. Every year ARMSCON is conducted which is a 3-day event (conference).

It is a degree that takes a span of time. MBBS has 4 profs first and 2nd prof is comparatively of short duration than 3rd and 4th prof . Your postings will get start from 2nd year and then you can call yourself as a doctor. Final year have all clinical subjects. First prof have anatomy biochemistry and physiology. 2nd year has pathology pharmacology and microbiology and 3rd prof has forensic and community medicine then your internship of 6 months comes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I've always wanted to become a doctor. Every batch consists of 150 students and for every subject, there are at least 4-5 professors. All faculty members are of course doctors with varying degrees of specialization in their respective fields. Their teaching method is through PowerPoint slides for theory classes and practical's are held in respective labs as it happens everywhere else usually. As for now, due to COVID exams being postponed otherwise before the pandemic, exams were held on time. Exams in a medical college are always slightly more difficult than other courses otherwise if you study properly it's not that tough to pass.

PGIMS Rohtak as everyone know is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is also one of the reputed colleges. It was given an A+ grade. It provides quality education to the students who thought it might be lacking a bit in infrastructure and extracurricular activities.

I applied to all the government medical colleges of Haryana, chose this college because of the high reputation, abundant opd and decades old legacy! It is undisputed that pgims is the best college of haryana , however one can choose newer colleges for better infrastructure. Admission into the college is based on the neet ug counseling, both state and aiq Neet is the only acceptable exam Cutoff varies yearly, however upto 9k air in state quota and 3k in aiq can get you into this college.
