Remarks
Earlier there used to be a seperate exam (UPSEE) for getting into this college + some seats are reserved for direct admission. Now the admission is done through JEE mains exam. And then AKTU counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science is a good course and the teachers teaching in CS department have good knowledge about the subject. The department has about 30 teachers and almost 550 students. The teaching methodology of teachers is a bit too old and to be honest they are unable to teach students upto their level best. There will be exams every month and they are not difficult to pass or score good in them but yes these exams are actually hectic.
Placement Experience
The placement cell is responsible for about 80 percent of the total placement in the college. Most of which is done by mass recruiters and thus lowering the avg package. But the college is not that supportive when it comes to placement. No student can have on site internship because for the idiots there attendance is more important then placement. Well final year students are given a free hand if they got some sort of placement. The placement begin when the students are in 6th sem. First company to come here is infosys and then the season starts. At the end almost 200 companies comes into the college. And almost all the students got placed thanks to infosys, tcs, capgemeni etc. The highest package is usually given by Amazon about 45 lpa. There are certain other companies that offer decent package such as Louis, American Express, Atlassian etc. The average package is arround 5 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is to be submitted in all at the start of the year. There is no provision of installments or financial assistance by the college. But yes student having annual family income below 3 lakhs do get scholarship by UP government. But in CS department you are not going to get this scholarship as well because the branch is not NBA accredited (untill you come under some reservation).
Campus Life
In this college no student actually doesn't know what is fest or event. There is generally one fest a year but that is not even worth. But yes the students club running here are good. There are poetry club(kavyanjali) , dance clubs (Phoenix), singing and music club(KMC), Acting club(V-Paksh) , a fashion society and about 5 tech clubs. And out of them innogeeks stands apart from other clubs in terms of glory teaching style student interaction, peer to peer learning, projects, environment and faculty support. The classes have projectors installed in them and all the tools that a teacher needs for teaching students.
Hostel Facilities
There are total 6 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. There are 1 2 and 3 seater rooms. Each student is provided by a table , chair, bed and lan port. 100 gb of data is given to students per month. The main issue with hostel is food. The mess is good and hygienic but the food is bad. It doesn't tastes good and sometimes it also smells bad.
