Best infra structured university with mediocre placement

University life was awesome. As per the technical knowledge, universities is mediocre. But rest facilities are very good. Great infrastructure, great library facility, sports complex will make your 4 years.

I appeared in AIEEE exam in 2011 and got the all India rank 80 thousand. There was no interview held and admission was taken the basis of my rank. Admission process was simple. I had interest in electronics and chip designing that's why I choose electronics and communication engineering as my B tech course.

The course curriculum was not up to date of current job demand in the market. Curriculum was very obsolete and has not been changed since a long time. It was very boring and only theoretical basis. The curriculum of electronics and communication engineering has not been designed appropriate to market demand. The core subjects are studied only in last semesters.

There was no any internship which was provided by University. Students have to find internship program by themselves in Companies.

Placement is mediocre of ECE. Not that good. In my time, only a few companies visited e.g efforts pvt. Ltd., Infosys. Only few students were placed in on-campus placement. However, my juniors confirmed that it has improved since then. Training and placement cell is said to be working better since before.

There are various fest are conducted in university on departmental basis and University basis. Hostel programs her also held during the starting of new year. Techfest are conducted in zone vice. And Ranveer Singh auditorium is the best place for such activities here.

If taken as per technical course offered private universities, the fee is not that high. My annual fee was 50000 rupees. It also covers your health charges of 2000 rupees per semester. Hostel charges are only 8000 rupees per year. And many percentage that is taken as security which is refunded at the end of your B.Tech.

There are ten to fifteen scholarship provided in the University. Scholarship is also available for the top rankers admission taker in every branch. General category students can also avail scholarship. Loan facility is also provided by University. My friend also availed the loan facility.

If I talk about infrastructure, best infrastructure you will ever get. Awesome library facilities, 12 mbps WiFi, newly opened BH-4 HOSTEL, sport complex, shopping complex, cafeteria, Jim. Labs condition is also good. You may find mediocre labs in other departments. Also, newly opened Haryana school of business and chaudhary Ranbir Singh auditorium are also there. Also various competitions are held in departments by the students for painting, debates, robotics etc. Largest blood donation camp of the India is also conducted in university every year.

As per the fee structure the hostel, hostel fee is very reasonable which is 8000 rupees per year. There are four hostels for boys and free hostels for girls. In my hostel, 4 beds were available in each room. Mess facility was also there. The food was mediocre. They was also sport room in hostel and TV room was also available.

Seniors were helpful. I got help in my various subjects for my seniors. A Senior also guided me regarding my internship summer training. He had very good network of companies.

Exams are held in every semester. 1st- minors are conducted then major exams happens. The marks division between these exams is in the ratio of 30/70. 40% is the pass marks. Labs marks are also included in the final result. The university provide result in CGPA and SGPA.

I got admission on the basis of AIEEE rank. I went in the open counselling session. Notification of open counselling session is released after the main counselling. Admission process for simple and whole procedure was completed in a single day. We were required to bring 3 photocopy setup 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificate, domicile, qualifying exam rank certificate.

Permanent faculty is good. but Guest faculty is not that good. They are not much knowledgeable. Mechanical department has a good faculty but ECE department has a mediocre facility. Best faculty is of printing and packaging department. Also, it has 100% placement. Course curriculum is also fine. If you religiously work hard, u will go through.
