Reality of Galgotias university

It was a merit-based admission. The cutoff for B.Tech is 60%+ in PCM and for BSc course 50%. The admission form is available on the official website of the college. Admission is done online as well as offline mode. I am from the general category so I have not availed myself of any reservation benefits. Yes, of course, there should be a better admission process as any person can get direct admission here.

Teaching is my passion and I want to make it my profession so I have taken BSc Hons in mathematics. The faculty here is very good and helpful. All professors here are Ph.D. scholars. They use PPT, online material, and also a whiteboard for teaching purposes. The exams are conducted timely. To pass the exams, it's easy but to score well you need to study properly.

There are internship opportunities available for the students. Many times students have to go ahead, looking for internships themselves by apps like Internshala and all. But generally, the faculty here is helping the students get the right placement. Some companies like Amazon, Deloitte, MTG, etc.

For B.Tech students can sit for placement in the 4th year. a large no. Companies visit here for placement like Amazon, Deloitte, etc. The highest package was 42 lakhs last year. The average package is 6-8 lakhs. Around 50% of people get placement. My plan after completing my BSc. is the completion of my MSc.

The fees here are really fine considering the fees of another college nearby. My fee is 50000/- per year. Yes, a scholarship is available for people who score 93% and above on boards. I feel the cost to study is ok here. It's affordable.

Campus Life here is good. Every year welcome parties, freshers parties, Diwali fest, and fest for all types of festivals are conducted from time to time. the libraries here are big. There are 3 libraries in 3 of the blocks and the collection of books and journals is good. All types of sports and games take place here. The clubs here are active like photography, actors, dance, hackers, sports, etc.
