Entrance Preview

The students are selected on the basis of merit or written test and interview rounds which are taken by the admission management committee. The students are offered seat on two criteria i.e. either performance basis or first come first serve basis. I was very lucky to be able to get through the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum includes all the basic knowledge in the first two semesters and then they teach in depth about all the topics in the next four semesters. A lot of presentations, internship programmes, research projects, computer projects and presentations are given to students. I loved the practical part of the course.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was done by all the students after second year got over. We were exposed to the industry norms and regulations and we learnt the needs and demands of the industry. We got a basic regular stipend of Rs 4000 per month and we were included in a lot of projects in the company. This programme was mandatory for all the students of the college.

Placement Experience

The college has a good placement committee. They are very particular about the placements of the students and wants that all their students get placed in the good companies. We all were pretty scared about the interview since we were good at coding but not good at representing ourselves but the college understood our fear and gave us proper training and mock interviews so that we can perform better.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship programme was offered by the college/institute but was available in a very limited number. Students who had performed very good in their academics throughout their academic period were offered the scholarship. Even the scholarship was available on the first come and first serve basis. Special programmes were available for SC/ST/OBC category.

The course curriculum was very slow as compared to other Universities in which I had friend studing. They were teaching the second year syllabus in the third year where I get to know from my friends that they already been taught about that subject in their college in the beginning of the second year

My life in KPB Hinduja College of Commerce.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So from the beginning i was passionate about web development so i chossed BCA to get proper knowledge about computer system. The best part of BCA is that it is more practically based than theoretical based. The professors in KPB Hinduja college should keep lectures regularly. So their is 6 semester in 3 years and 2 sem each in 1 year and examination system is not that strict as this course is from open university.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 6th semester. Every year many big companies like tech Mahindra and Infosys come for campus placements and many of the students are selected. The highest package that was offered was 500000 per annum. If you ask for my plan after I get the degree I am going to do a course for 6 months to get skills and then do an internship in a company and then go for MCA.
