I was admitted into the college through Kerala gov single window system. Sree Krishna college was my first priority as it was closer to my home and I got into the college by the first allotment. As I opted for the commerce stream, my bachelor's degree is in B.com Finance. I am under the general category so didn't get any reservation benefit. The eligibility of my course was +2 and the cutoff percentage of my college for B.com was 73%.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course was B.com Finance as I choose commerce for my +2 and my dream is to be a CS holder. Our faculty is an efficient team with permanent and qualified Lecturers. Our college conducts various class tests, and internal and model exams. We are provided with various career guidance classes and other competitive exam training.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

As I was admitted into college through merit seat I don't have to pay any college fees, but the university exam fees should be paid for the general category. But for SC and ST students even the exam fees are exempted. Our college doesn't provide any direct scholarships but they cover full assistance for state and national scholarships.

Campus Life

Our college celebrations were limited due to the Covid pandemic but once our college was open to regular classes by the second year various regular programmes were restarted. College fest, Holy celebration, Onam celebration, Grand reunion and a lot more regular fests. Our college has an eco club, NSS and NCC cadet.

It's okay , not the best , but it teaches the basic of business administration and management. It does help in real world application as in a way to manage employees, improve productivity etc, the exams were fine and kind of stressful since it's every single day

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm a 3rd year BCom Taxation student. I don't think that some subjects are relevant for the course. Some subjects are not required in the future. From 5th sem onwards there is an open Course subject which we have to learn and pass the exam. The open Course subject that I have received is not based on the marks that I received in my previous semester exam. And in have to go to the office to change the subject of my like later on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My dream is to become a accountant. So I choose this bcom with computer application course. The course structure was very nice and we can understand easily. In my opinion do more practicals . This course is therotically oriented which is not good when we go for a job. So it is better to give more practicals than theory sections. Main reason I hated the college was the exams. The college put the exam without any time gap which was very annoying

Placement Experience:

They are providing the best placements from other college. In the 2nd year of our course first they give training to us and then they give internship programms . And in the third year they make us ready for our placements. They provide best company placement to us. They are not looking our marks for selection but the attitude towards them.

5th semester students are eligible for campus placement with atleast 65% of marks. The MNC's are TCS, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE etc. The highest package is 50000 . They will approximately 12 students for their MNC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is based on accounts and marketing etc. There is required faculty to guide students with a HOD which means the head of the department. Faculty are supportive and motivated. Teaching is done through using teaching methods and other using other technologies like projectors etc. Exams are conducted every 6 months in between the 3 years.

Remarks:

Negative remark is that even though it is a womens College there no freedom for the girls. Positive remark is that the College has struct rules and regulations and hemce the students are well disciplined.

I was admitted into Sree Krishna College through single window portal of the Kerala government. As I was having a reservation under SC I got admitted into the college through the community quota. Our classes started on November 1st through online platforms like Google meet, Google classroom and zoom. Other important notifications are shared through WhatsApp. As I am an SC student I do have a lot of reservation benefits. Our admission started in October 2020. I joined the college through the allotment procedure of govt of Kerala. There were 3 allotments followed by 2 supplementary allotments. As our college is an aided college the students can also join the college through management quota. It also offers sports quotas for the students who excel in sports. The cut of percentage for Bachelors in commerce was 86% during the year 2020. First semester degree classes were officially commenced on November 2nd by the University of Calicut. Sree krishna collage Guruvayoor is a aided collage under Guruvayoor Dheevasam board . As the college is under Calicut University Our admission process started by the last of June in 2020. The admiration process were completed by November 2nd. Our college covers an area of 36 acres and is situated on top of a hill with immense natural beauty and rich biodiversity. Our college has quite developed infrastructure facilities and a clean campus . It also offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
