Remarks

First of all, we need to complete 10+2 or equivalent education from any recognised board in India. In my time we were required to visit campus in specific tenure. To get the admission form. College authorities used to affix notice of commencement of the admission process. We had to buy an admission form for 250 INR from the college window. But now we can easily get all of the information on our phones from the college website. Now admission process has changed. We need to apply online with 250 RUPEE Draft. After filling up the application form we need to wait for the admission cutoff. This is the only way to get into college. The cutoff is based on your performance in class 10 and class 12. Half of high school percentage marks and grade 12 percentage combined, make your cutoff score. You can avail of reservation benefits by submitting relevant documents and information with the application form. Cutoff marks are separated category-wise as per UGC Norms. After that college management declares dates for a counselling sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I was a student from a maths background and I was not interested in engineering so I thought it will be the best course for me to pursue to complete. As we all know that we need more teachers in the higher education system. And we see a huge deficiency of teachers in government colleges. But there was nothing like that. We had ample teachers in every faculty. All of the teachers are highly qualified and experienced and are so interested in their field. When I was studying there exams were taken annually. But now the college has adopted a semester system.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

As the college is being managed by the government of Uttar Pradesh we had to pay 4500 (approx) rupees annually as a course fee. Now according to NEP course fee is almost doubled as you need to pay Approximately 4500 rupees per semester. Agra college comes under the scholarship scheme called "post matric scholarship" which you need to apply for it on the government portal. According to NEP college management also started vocational courses with syllabi.

Campus Life

3.5

Let me tell you about it, as we know it's not a hifi or very advanced college. This college just provides you education and your degree with very basic amenities. We have a central library where you can go find a peaceful place and course-relevant books to study. Agra college has its own ground for football, basketball court gymnasium and also has its team for different sports. And you can join them by proving yourself. Cultural activities take place on campus perennially. That includes folk dance, singing, instrument playing etc. If you are interested in politics there are two organisations named ABBP And NSUI. Classrooms are old-age halls with fans and sitting infrastructure.

College management is good they are some merits and demerits of everything so this college also have some demerits also like some teachers and proctors are rude and not helpful but mostly people around there are helpful so overall this college is really good if you want teaching and discipline because they are strict in maintaining disciplines.

My college was good and I had a great experience there but still it lacks some facilities. If it starts placements or internship it will be one of the best colleges in Agra. Also it should not give more preference to Christians as merit is what matters the most.
