Remarks

The admission process is pretty smooth. The AICTE entrance test provides a scholarship in this college. Admission staff is operative and there is some other entrance test also available to study in this college. The admission process was quite easy You can pretty much otp any course but if you have less percentage you can get difficult to get the CS department. If you are taking admission through reservation fee relaxation will be there. Only the admission desk needed to be more polite with parents and new students and students outside Karnataka

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in the IT department. Faculty to student ratio is pretty good here in this college and all the teachers are quite good with students. The teachers are really good and hardworking. Every month we have internals and every 6 months one final exam.

Placement Experience

3.5

after the 5th sem companies usually visit here and you are eligible after the 5th semester only. Some companies visited are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Sasken, Agile Point, Deltax, VIT Infotech, NCsoft, etc. Almost 80 percent of students are placed. I plan to go for M.Tech. after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is pretty good if it is through some scholarship, but it is justified if compare to other colleges in Bangalore. COMEDK and AICTE scholarships are good ways to get addmission at less charge. College usually provides a job with a 3.5 LPA average.

Campus Life

2.5

One annual fest named 'Arohna' is held every year, it's pretty good but up to that mark if compare to other colleges. Almost every book available in the library but they are older version latest is very less. If one is interested in sports he can get to participate in sports frequently but there is no good ground for football. But for basketball, a nice court is there. There is one Rotract club run by some students

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel is the best part I would say, the meal is not excellent but it's good and far better than any other hostel food in Bangalore. A separate washroom is provided for each room and pretty much every facility is provided here. It cost around 95000 latest in 2022

Placement Experience:

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the computer science was booming and also beeing an aspiring student towards that field I had decided to do CSE. The curriculum is was less practical towards the real world applications. They should have include industry professionals to teach they would have better knowledge and experience. Every one we used to have exam like mid term , FA, and end terms. Difficulty depends upon prepration level done by student.

They are eligible for placements after 4th semester and the placements are average, a lot of companies have visited I can't say them all ex like Infosys, TCS , and a lot of American and Taiwanese companies, the highest place ment in this campus was around 28lpa and average is around 1L and the percentage of students getting placements are below average like every other college cause this mostly depends on you and not the college its all based on your skill set. My plans are to get a job with a good lpa and I'm confident about that because I have a good skillset which would benefit the companies.

If talking about the placement placements are good companies like Wipro or Amazon and many other companies will visit the campus but the ratio of selection is less. So little bit hard work is required or else around 60 to 70%. Students are placed from my college in every year.
