What MRCET is all about.

There is no special entrance exam for admission to MRCET, students can join through either the conveyor quota or management quota. Some seats are for reservation students under government norms. I want the admissions to be merit-based rather than reservation based.

I was always keen on programming and designing new apps and websites so I opted for this course. Interaction between students and faculty is very appreciable with a 1:10 ratio. Mostly all the teachers are highly educated from reputed universities with PGs and some teachers are also publishing their papers. Every 2 months we have our mid-term exams about twice a semester. The mids are good to answer but the semester exams are a little tougher and some papers are more difficult than expected.

From 3rd year semester 2, the campus placements drive starts. Reputed companies like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, etc. visit our college and most of the students get a minimum of 2 offer letters. The highest package is about 35 lakhs and the average is about 5 lakhs. 75%+ students get placed. I want to be placed in a good company and the future, I'm looking forward to continuing my studies.

The government of Telangana gives scholarships for merit-based and reservation students. Our college has many students with scholarships. Last year our college got about 2000 placements which was a record and the highest package from the past was about 35 lakhs.

Espirto is the name of the tech fest conducted by our CSE block and every course block has its name for the tech fests. A lot of highly recommendable books are available in the library. We have digital classrooms. Our college even has sports teams who participate in different tournaments. We have a coding club in our college.

The college has its college hostels. In the college hostel, 4 students share a room, and coming to food the college hostel provides different breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks menus. The quality of the meals is average. We can also choose private hostels according to our needs. We have many options for private hostels near the college.
