Remarks

The admission process is so easy. If you want to join SKITM, there will be two choices. First is through direct admission and another option is going through the counseling process. You just have to contact any faculty/staff member he/she will help you to take admission. Within half an hour admission process can be completed.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am a civil engineering student. I chose this course because I want to become a structural engineer. In the civil engineering department the faculty: student ratio is 1:10. All of the faculties are post-graduated. Even some faculties are Ph.D. holders. The faculties are so supportive. They teach in a simple manner. The level of semester exams is quite moderate but our teachers prepare us so gently for exams.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

There is no internship provided by Shivaji Rao Kadam Institute of technology and management because the college didn't take any design classes for civil, mechanical, electronic, and communication departments.

Placement Experience

3.5

The final-year students are eligible for company placements. Several companies offer jobs like Wipro, TCS, IBM, etc. The highest package offered was 12lpa. Almost all of the students get placed. I am planning for an MTech in structural engineering after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is quite expensive. College didn't provide any scholarships. If you belong to any reserved category then you can get a scholarship from the government otherwise there is no scholarship provided neither fee concession is available. Placement will start in the final year of the course.

Campus Life

3.5

The college campus is normal. There is no annual fest. There are hundreds of books in the library of different-different publishers. The college also has provided an E-library in which you will get thousands of e-books free of cost. There are negligible sports activities. There is no social group/club/website run by students.

Other Applied Colleges

Indore Institute of Science and Technology - [IIST] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Civil Engineering)

Because SKITM has more average package than IIST

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester student can apply for internships and for placement student should be in 5th semester of his or her college life. There's very difficulties in getting placed by the company because few of the company comes to college and very fewer gets placed. So student must develop the skills on their own and apply for off campus selection. More than 8.5 cgpa for average package and more than 9 cgpa is required for a good company... I'm planning to give upsc exams after graduation
