Remarks

A student must have passed their 10+2 with minimum of 50 percent marks and the student must have opted Science stream in 12th -PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).Visit college to get the application form for admission and to know the full process of admission. If a student has taken the entrance exam then it requires counselling (exam-JEE mains).

Course Curriculum Overview

This is the best college for Engineering in my city (Muzaffarnagar). The faculties are good with proper knowledge and grasp of their subjects. The faculty-to-student ratio is good. There are sessional exams and PUT (Pre-University) every semester.

A Btech student is eligible for campus placement after completion of his 6th semester. I have seen companies like Collabera, and TCS visiting our college for recruiting. A lot of webinars are also conducted in this college providing knowledge about career paths.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are not too high compared to other colleges of engineering. The financially weak students are also provided some help. Students also receive their scholarships from the government and they need to apply for scholarships with the proper documents.

Campus Life

There is an Annual Fest -COLORS that is conducted every year on Dec 30, Dec 31, and Jan 1 on New Year. The tech fests are also organized by the B.Tech department. There is a huge library, the student can easily issue books from the library, big classrooms, and neat and clean corridors. The students here enthusiastically participate in sports events too.

Placement Experience:

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.
