Remarks
The college has conducted several training programmes customised to the identified needs of health service personnel of different states, young health researchers, physicians in practice and national health programme managers and consultants. Large scale training have been organised in areas of core focus like - diabetes, epidemiology, Health promotion, mental health etc.
Entrance Preview
Bachelor Degree with at least 50% in any discipline from recognized University by the University Grants Commission and the Degree awarding University must be member if Association of Indian Universities. There is no age restriction to apply for the course Masters in Public Health. Both men and women candidates are given equal preference and are eligible to apply for the course.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure or course curriculum and lesson plan for the complete syllabus is prepared by the well-qualified faculties who have done a lot of research and still continue to do so, before making any lesson plans for all of their students. The students of the college are given practical sessions on the field trip so that they can have an experience of the industry.
Placement Experience
The placement cell will extend full support to the students to assist them in the placements, however the placement cell does not guarantee the final placements. The students are required to extend their full support in the entire placement process and work closely with the placement cell for placements. A lot of companies shows interest in hiring the students of this college.
Campus Life
Classrooms at IIPH are air-conditioned and have finest gadgets in form of projectors, sound systems, and smart boards. These aids of teaching are taken into use for imparting education to students in an innovative manner resulting in higher rate of interaction and participation. Practical labs with innovative and sophisticated machines are available at IIPH so that students can practice their skills and know about health sector in a better way
