You can take admission directly if you have 50 % in 10th and 12th otherwise you can also go through with the help of jee mains All the details of admission were available on the official site of Centurion University of technology and management or you can go to the college and check the details.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Study is good in this college they focus most on practicals than on theory. The faculty and students ratio is I think 5: 100. All facilities have at least one qualification of M tech but as per I know in my department of Mechanical engineering all facilities are Ph.D. About exams we have two internal exams one is written and one is the presentation and we have a semester exam at semester end.

Internships Opportunities

3

College provides internships for agriculture students and also for BTech students in cad designing, automobile, manufacturing, and many more. Internships in automobile projects are E vehicle manufacturing and manufacturing different parts in CNC machining.

Placement Experience

3

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for placements. In the last few years placements are increased very rapidly almost every student getting placed at least 80 % of students getting placement. The highest package is like 10 to 12 lacks per annum to lowest is 3 to 5 lacks per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fees of the college are 100000 for Btech Mechanical engineering and extra fees are also there in the first year 28,000 is the extra fee and for the remaining 3 years, the extra fee is 7000. For the hosteler 74,000 is fees and if you want to stay in AC HOSTEL then you have to pay 110,000 this is the fee structure of the college. You can also get a scholarship from college on the basis of your marks.

Campus Life

4

Clubs are the most essential parts of the college there are many clubs in the college like dance club, music club, language club, drama club, photography club, sports club, and many more club. And it is necessary to participate in at least one club. Annually sports events were organized for different sports like football, cricket volleyball, basketball, kabbadi, athletics, and many more. And there is a huge Library in the college you can issue any book from there.

Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University - [SOA], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Reviewed on Jan 9, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Relevance & Comprehensiveness (Rating: 7/10) The course curriculum at SOA is updated frequently compared to state government colleges. Why I chose this: I was attracted to the fact that the syllabus includes modern electives like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics starting from the 3rd year itself, rather than waiting for the final semester. Real-world Prep: The curriculum is designed largely to crack placement interviews. There is a heavy focus on Aptitude and Core Coding subjects (DS/Algo) which helps in getting a job. However, for deep research or R&D roles, the theoretical depth is sometimes lacking. 2. Areas for Improvement Teaching Methods: A major issue is the reliance on PowerPoint Presentations (PPTs). Many faculty members just read off the slides. I would prefer more "Whiteboard Teaching" for mathematical and logic-based subjects. Lab Records: We spend hours handwriting practical records/files which are just copied from the manual. This is a waste of time. This time should be used for live coding projects or hackathons. Outdated Subjects: First-year students (even in CS/IT) are forced to learn heavy mechanical/civil concepts. While basics are good, the depth of these non-core subjects should be reduced. 3. Exam System & Difficulty Frequency: It is quite hectic. We have 2 semesters a year. Each semester has 2 Internal Assessments (Quizzes/Mid-sems) and 1 End-Semester Exam. Basically, you have an exam every 1.5 to 2 months. Difficulty: The exams are Easy to Moderate. It is not very difficult to pass. If you study the "Class Notes" and "Previous Year Questions" for 3-4 days before the exam, you can easily score an 8.0 SGPA. The checking is lenient for passing, but strict if you are aiming for a 9.5+ SGPA.

I actually have a very little idea about placements of our uni few seniors says there is not a single company visiting, while few were discussing the highest placement which was something like 20lpa or something,i think companies do visit our campus it may not be much but i have definetly seen one or two companies visiting. I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

Gandhi Engineering College (GEC Autonomous), Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Reviewed on Dec 22, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.
