KLS have six separate departments; Department of Public Law, Department of Private Law, Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, Department of Liberal Arts, Department of Business Studies and Department of Natural and physical sciences. All the courses of KIIT Law School are approved by Bar Council of India and are affiliated to the parent KIIT University. The courses have been designed with the help of Prof. N.L. Mitra, an eminent law professor and former Director of National Law School of India University, Bangalore and Former Vice-Chancellor of National Law University, Jodhpur and other dignitaries of the field.

In first 2 year the will teach 3 side subject and 3 law subject and after 2 year then all subject you have to learn.

Placement Experience
School of Law of KIIT University has achieved an impressive placement performance for its 2016 graduating batch. So far 104 of total 113 eligible and registered students of its five-year integrated law programmes, BA.LL.B, BBA.LL.B and B.Sc.LL.B, have been placed. A record number of 39 recruiters participated in the campus placement process this year. They included reputed law firms like J Sagar Associates, Khaitan & Co. and Wadia Ghandy & Co.; corporate and MNCs like Deloitte, Bajaj Allianz and Ernst & Young; and legal process outsourcing (LPO) service providers like Mindcrest. With the placement process continuing till the month of June, the School is poised to achieve cent percent placement. The highest salary of Rs. 21 lakhs (post successful completion of probation) was offered by VDB Loi, an international law firm to a BA.LL.B. (Hons.) student, while the average salary in the batch was Rs. 4 lakh. Chicago-based LPO service provider, Mindcrest, was the top recruiter with 27 offers. KIIT School of Law was established by KIIT University in the year 2007 to meet the growing demand for legal professionals in the wake of globalization and rapid expansion of India's economy. It has been recording excellent placement every year since the first batch graduated in 2012. With equal emphasis on academic placement, many students also find success in higher education institutions in India and abroad. Notably, three students are presently pursuing Masters in Law and Finance from University of Oxford, U.K. In the recent past, students have also received the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship and DAAD scholarship. Some students have also ventured into litigation and legal entrepreneurship, while some others have joined judicial services. “KIIT School of Law strives to make its students competent to confront the emerging challenges and to respond to the growing dimensions of the legal profession”, said Prof. N. K. Chakrabarti, Director, KIIT School of Law. He attributed the success to the innovative teaching method that provides the best of exposure to the students. Maintaining a strong academic vibrancy in the campus, the School organises moot court, seminars and workshops throughout the year participated by students and professors of leading law schools and law universities of the country. Last year, the then Chief Justice of India had inaugurated the All India Seminar on 'Global Legal Education' at KIIT School of Law. The seminar was attended by the judges of the Supreme Court of India, Chief Justices and judges of various High Courts and many other distinguished legal luminaries. As a result, the students get to interact with distinguished personalities from around the world on a continuous basis. While congratulating the successful students, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT and KISS credited the record placement this year to the combined effort of the students, staff and faculty members of KIIT School of Law, particularly its Placement Cell. KIIT has been able to attract so many globally reputed companies and law firms due to its strong brand, he added.
College Events
College events are plenty. Starting from an annual moot court competition and debate competition. Then we have annual sports fest. Then we have our college fest every year which the 4th year organizes. LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS The college provides a scholarship of rs12000 to the student who tops the batch every year. COURSE CURRICULUM REVIEW "Course curriculum is beautifully made from the first to the fifth year. Introducing the basics in the first two year of course and then introducing the main ones after establishing the stepping stones. We are made to read constitution, IPC contract law jurisprudence, legal method and other subjects " FEES REVIEW "The fee structure is a little steep with every student paying around 2.5 lakhs per annum but the library and the facilities provided are more than enough for a person who is capable of the very same."

Hostel Facilities
The hostels are different for boys and girls. Each room has 2 persons. The mess is included in the hostel fee. There are Pgs nearby which are affordable staring from 5000. The hostel fee is 60000 per annum.The exam structure is very simple. We have a 30 marks alloted for mid semesters. 20 marks are alloted for presentations and 50 marks for the end semesters.

KIIT Law School (abbreviated KLS and also School of Law, KIIT University)(Odia: କିଟ୍ ଆଇନ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ)is a law school imparting legal education to the students. The institution is situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha within the KIIT University campus, to which it is affiliated. KLS offers five years integrated course in BA LL.B., BBA LL.B. and BSc LL.B. with Honors specialization in different areas of law; LL.M. and PhD. KLS offers five year dual degree integrated courses in BA LL.B., BBA LL.B. and BSc LL.B.. The courses are divided into ten semesters with six papers in each of the semesters. The courses are designed in such a way that it combine law degrees with papers in liberal arts, management and natural sciences. From the Sixth semester, student can choose from Constitutional law, Business law, International trade law, Intellectual property Rights, Crime and Criminology, Human Rights, Taxation law and International law as honors specialization. Several other Honors papers can be added on request of at least ten students expressing their interest to take that specialization as honors subject. Students can also select from several seminar courses which are taught. KLS also offers LL.M. and PhD academic programmes. KLS offers one year LL.M. degree program with specialization in International and Comparative Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Criminal and Security Law, Family and Social Security Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Legal Pedagogy and Research.[1]
Exam Structure
a hectic day with lots of work we have to do like we have to attend classes from 8 am to 2 pm.all we have to do is work and work .if you are joined any society of law school then after class you have to do the work of your society. Saturday and Sunday will be off. according to the BCI Rules, Saturday and Sunday will be off.

Faculty
he faculty members are either graduates from National Law Schools or have completed their graduation or post graduation from Universities abroad. Most of the faculty have completed their PhD from reputed Universities. Prof. Dr. Faizan Muftafa, the Founder Director, and Current Vice Chancellor of NALSAR and adviser of the institute holds a Ph.D in Copyright laws from Aligarh Muslim University. Prof. N.L. Mitra, an eminent law professor and former Director of National Law School of India University, Bangalore and Former Vice-Chancellor of National Law University, Jodhpur is the Chancellor of KIIT University. Prof. M.S. Raste, Ex Vice-chancellor of Symbiosis International Law School had also worked as one of the faculties and served this law school as director for a period of time. Other eminent faculty of this institution are Prof. V.D. Sebastian, Former Dean of Faculty of Law, Cochin University and founder Director of School of Indian Legal Thought, M.G. University, Kottayam
