Excellent University to study

An excellent university for those who want to achieve something big in life. In short i can say it is a great Institute for all round development.

One of my friend told me about this university. When I visited the campus I liked the infrastructure and atmosphere of SGVU.

The curriculum is very dynamic and designed according to International education level. In short I can say that SGVU provides learning with understanding and offering world class education and research opportunities. Weekly test ensure continuous assessment of learning.

Yes our University provide internships for different courses like for computer science and IT courses University has tie-up with Google and also have a google app lab, for mechanical it has tie-up with Bosch, for electronics it has tie-up with CISCO.

As I am in the second year of my post graduation course, I am not much aware about the placements and job opportunities offered by University. But I hope their are great opportunities waiting ahead. The passed out students are all placed in good MNCs, Gov. Jobs etc.

May events are celebrated in SGVU like Aayam-Techfest, X-Animo, for sports many events are their like it has two sports weeks during a year namely Bellicose which is Intra University sports week and Eklavya which is inter University sports week. along with these events University also organize Career fair.

Fee structure is very feasible, their are many type of scholarship programs offered by the University for students like meritorious, underprivileged and financially weak, exceptionally talented students etc. University also encourage students to focus on their unique skill set along with studies.

The campus life is very good, it is an anti-ragging campus, University also takes care of religious observance of students, it has fully digitized and well stocked library, separate hostel for boys and girls, cafeteria and food zone, medical facility, in house open air theater, air conditioned seminar hall etc.

I am not staying in the University hostel so I don't have much idea about the facilities provided by the University. The university has good connectivity from railway, airport etc and located in the city, so PG's and hostels are available very easily with affordable price.

SGVU alumni community is an international community. The management provides a variety of benefits and services that helps alumni maintain connection with the institute and the pursuing students.

We have weekly assessment in our curriculum this is a great addition to our studies by taking these weekly tests they pre-prepare us for our main semester examinations. Online LMS is a 24*7 accessible technology adopted by SGVU which helps students to access library catalogs, assignment submission etc.

The admission procedure is very simple, GVSAT is the online entrance test which is conducted for technical courses by the University and after scoring good marks in that I got admission in this University. This is second year of my course and It's going great.

Faculty members are easily approachable to students. They have an open door policy for all the students. The are willing to help you learn and understand the material apart from that University also assign personal tutor for every student who help student with academic as well as non academic problems.
