A good college for low rank students.

The course can be opted by any student who had got a good rank in jee mains of that particular year, also lateral entries are taken on the basis of upcet exam. Application forms for counselling, fees and dates can be found on the website of university. If you have it will give you benefits like with the categories like st and sc you could get good branches even with rank in lakhs. One of my friends from Bihar has got electrical branch with a rank of 130000 and he is a general-category student. The result of the counselling process should be declared on time as they used to get late by a day Or some hours. There should be a greater time limit for the submission of fees for seats when you get them in counselling and it should be reduced as students are filling for various counsellings.

I am a computer science and engineering student at Madan Mohan Malviya university of technology, Gorakhpur. I have chosen this course as it provides me with the opportunity to get into a multinational company and to do my dream job. There are enough of faculty as the college has a good ratio that could be expected as 1:40. Most of the faculty is an assistant professor and guest faculty. There are some professors too but they stay in offices and they are HOD so they are not gonna teach students. But the faculty which teach you is helpful and they try to every aspect of the syllabus and they are good at it. The term exams were of three hours for any subject having 4 or more credits. And 2 hours for less than 4 credits subject. It was not difficult to pass as many of our batch have got over 8 cgpa like in CSE we have 50+ students with over 8 cgpa.

Internships in college are not that common but some students who are talented and are aware of coding and they are good at it get the opportunity to get enrol in internships. Some of our seniors are doing in NHAI they have grabbed it in their 3rd year 5th sem.

From the 6th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many of our seniors get placed in renowned companies in their life 3rd year. Many companies like Amazon, TCS, etc come to the college there are more than 80 companies that visit the college and the number is increasing every year. Almost all students get placed who sit for placement. I have to get a placement and do my dream job as the role of a software engineer in my dream company.

I have not seen any fee hike but I think it is already high enough for a government college. The scholarship we get is the Uttar Pradesh scholarship from up government and it is approximately 55k. But yet the fees are affordable.

The annual fest of the college is Abhyudaya and it is conducted by the cultural sub-council of the college the techni fest of the college is TECHSRIJAN conducted by the technical Subcouncil. The fest this year was conducted in April (Abhudaya)and tech titan in July but they are celebrated in starting of the new year when freshie comes. Various books and journals are available in the library and they are available to all. There are teams for every sport I would say the majority like the kabaddi team won the gold medal when they went to iit Kanpur this year. Newton school coding club and almost many societies like technical Subcouncil, cultural Subcouncil, sports council, and dance club are handled by students

Rooms are simple you don't have bathrooms or toilets in rooms they are common like there is a toilet for each room but it is separate. Hostel registration could be done at the time of the counselling registration through the college website. The hostel is quite affordable which is the core reason for my taking hostel. A meal here is good in starting months but it is average in every condition. The Mess menu is designed by the students and they do it according to the majority's preference.
