NIT Patna honest review.

To get admission in electrical engineering at NIT Patna, you must sit in JEE MAINS and secure a handsome rank. After you must go through Josaa and Cab counseling and select this college and branch. To get admission in this one must sit in Jee mains. One can apply for it from the official website of Jee mains. Reservation criteria are there in this college based on Home state, Females, EWS, OBC NCL, SC, ST, and PWD. One can find details in the official notification of JEE mains. The admission process is super smooth. And transparent. I don't think there is a need to change anything in this except the new paper pattern of NTA JEE Mains.

I choose this course because I was interested in electrical engineering and the placements were also good. In the 2020 GATE examination, Aabhas Rai from electrical engineering secured an India rank 1. The faculty here are highly qualified and some of them have done Ph.D. from IITs like IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee. The faculty is helpful but the curriculum is difficult which is why one has to focus on the classes to secure a good CGPA. The student ratio is pretty good, the female-to-male ratio is 1:4. And day by day it is increasing. The term examination happens on time but some time due to festivals and other occasions it gets postponed. To pass the college examination being an electrical engineering person is easy but one has to do hard work to get a good CGPA as the college has a relative grading method.

Internship opportunities on the campus are also very good if compared to the other colleges some companies like Atlassian Intuit Amazon Flipkart Microsoft Texas Instrument Info edge visit the campus regularly. But when compared to the final placement the internship opportunities are all lower side but overall good.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Over 200 companies visit campus and 100% of placement happens in the college. Some deserving students get multiple offers. The highest is 80 lpaLowest is 7 LPA 100% placement happens and some even bag multiple offers. I plan to sit in campus placement and get a software engineering job and will continue in this field.

National Institute of Technology Patna is one of the most value-for-money colleges it is affordable and gives a good output of the money you have invested. For the home state quota, the Bihar government gives a good amount of scholarships. If your parental income belongs to the 0 to 5 lakh range you need to give 5 lakh rupees to study B.Tech if you are living in a hostel and availing mess facilities. Some scholarships that students get in NIT Patna are FFE and scholarships given by Bihar Government. For other states, it depends upon the state government of respective States. There are many coaching centers near NIT Patna where you can teach and earn a good amount of money as pocket money.

The name of the annual fest is corona and manage and it happens from December to January. Techfest keeps on happening regularly and mostly happens in March April and November December. The library is the soul of this college and is one of the oldest colleges the library is full of resources books and journals one can get every book of needs related to the college curriculum or preparation for competitive examinations like UPSC and Gate. The classrooms are big and some of them have AC classroom projectors and whiteboards which are used from time to time depending on the content. The sports and extracurricular activities happen on a small level as the college campus is small so the ground is small but participation is very high people from here have bagged gold medals and silver medals in inter-NIT competitions. The hostel facilities are very good. There is a new hostel with the name Brahmaputra which has a capacity of over 1000 students the hostel is newly made and best in class it has only two-seater rooms. Food quality in the mess is not up to the mark but there is a mess committee that keeps an eye on the quality of food so there is no issue in that the mess menu here is very good having North Indian and South Indian food combined in the menu. The registration process is very simple one has to fill Google form related to avail facilities from the hostel and mess and goes accordingly. The area in which NIT is a student area and hence the availability of PG and hostel is good but the quality of life is not up to the mark if you are not living in a college hostel.
