Entrance Preview

Opted this university as it stood top in my list for its location in Bhopal, Its reputation, Placements and the Industry exposure it gave to students right from beginning is very good.

Placement Experience

An active and dynamic program of securing jobs for students graduating from the university is initiated by inviting industries of repute and other organizations to conduct interviews. Wide publicity of the activities of the Institute both from academic and extra-curricular point of view is given for the environment to identify our profile and the suitable talents available with us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is not much expensive, but still the course fee is on bit higher side. We are suppose to pay on semester basis and hostel fees are extra. Students availing education loans need to submit the documents well in advance, so that college will share intimation to students as well as bank when its high time to pay the fees. The course fee includes fee for books, infra amenities and other extra curriculars.

Fees and Financial Aid

This university has a full-fledged branch of Punjab National Bank and its ATM in the college premises. It is a Nationalized Bank which has given all kinds of transactional facility to students and staff.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel amenities are good. Shall be made best though as scope of improvements are always there. Hostel rooms are spacious and we have Single and sharing basis hostels. Will be provided with wardrobes, individual beds, blankets, towels, pillows, tables and chairs. Also provides Laundry facilities. Mess includes both veg and non veg and apart from mess there are many branded outlets.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Bond with Seniors and Alumni network starts from day 1 and it grows multi folds as days passes. The alumni network here is energetic and they meet as part of corporate every year or twice year through business meets and External discussions. They help in providing insights on what the industry expects and helps us with the placements and internships.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.
