Remarks
The cutoff here last year was around 569 marks in NEET. I got 580 marks last year and chose this college ahead of Jamnagar and Rajkot due to it's proximity to Ahmedabad. My advice to all other aspirants will be to choose Jamnagar and Rajkot ahead of Bhavnagar government college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum used to be of 18 months but due to corona this year, it was of hardly 9 months, and in which so 3 months is online due to college transfer and strike. The faculty here is decent and exams are held timely and moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunity in government medical college Bhavnagar is available in final year. After completing 4.5 year of study 1 year of internship is provided by college at the remuneration of 18,000 per month.
Placement Experience
I am a bonded candidate so will complete the bond of 1 year after MBBS after I decide on future comings. I plan to either pursue a master's in India or in foreign countries and after that will decide whether to serve in a private or government hospital.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here are 25000+15000 extra for the hostel, gym, and others. The scholarship you get depends on your income certificate. If your income is under 2.5 lac you will be eligible for a scholarship worth 40,000 and a food bill scholarship worth 12000.
Campus Life
The college lacks a campus so don't be skeptical about campus life here, there is a facility for sports. There is one small ground for badminton, volleyball and table tennis room. From the year 2022, the college will be transferred to university so sports facilities may increase and proper accommodation may be available.
