Great infrastructure!

This Institute is making progress very rapidly and the quality of students and faculty will keep on growing. It is one of the finest colleges around the area and that's for sure. Have a good day!

I had appeared for MHT-CET (2012) and scored a total of 102 marks. Looking at all the facilities provided and the necessary academic equipments available at that moment, it seemed a great option considering the nearby colleges. It still is very good option.

It is said that the syllabus that the "Shivaji University" has, is anachronistic. Academically, I realized I wasn't learning enough that will help me on the field. The college makes various attempts to make students do their research properly before they select their final projects. The college has turned to become a University this year and I hope things will be up to date and far more better now.

College doesn't provide internship. We all have to arrange our internship and report to college. But like I mentioned earlier, the college has become a University and things might just start to change in our favor.

Companies visit our college and many of my friends have been placed in companies like Capgemini and Atlas Copco. Also the college sends the students for off campus interviews. If the students raise their performance, you can expect more companies. Expecting a lot more companies this year onwards.

All the festivals are welcomed by the college and the students enjoy the events arranged by the college managements like Ganesh visarjan, janmshtami. Also we have cultural and technical fest every year and students showcase their skill and live the moment in a very frisky manner.

The fee was not cheap, but the facilities they provide makes it worth it. They can lessen it though. When I got the admission, my fee was around 75k, which increases by some percentage every year as per the rules. Now the fees is more than a lakh and the reason is that it has become a University.

They provide various scholarships and there are programmes under which many of students get benefited.

Gender ratio varies according to the fields they are learning in. I, being a mechanical engineer haven't seen a lot of girls around in my department. There are no problems of raging here in campus as well as in hostel as the seniors are very friendly. Campus life is great and you will enjoy the peace.

Hostel is best compared to any other hostels you have ever experienced. There is a small supermarket outside the hostel and which is inside the campus. You have three to four canteen options. Only problem is the location of college because of which you cannot chill out outside the campus. The nearest city is Kolhapur situated 15 kms away from college.

The seniors are very friendly and we always got help from them whenever we needed them. They are still in touch with us and are ready to help despite their busy schedules.

Unit exams are conducted on a regular basis, scoring in it leads you to good internal marks. Unlike many other colleges, we have to work hard for the internal marks and the college is stringent about it. Semester exams are scheduled as per the University.

The admission process went on very smoothly. No issues there. The instructions provided by the administration were more than helpful and any pending documents could be submitted in the given extension period. A help desk provided outside the office will help you with any of your queries.

Theoretical knowledge can be obtained by self anytime you want. I am not saying the faculty doesn't teach, but the level of encouragement student needs is to be increased. Inspite of the obsolete syllabus, the faculty constantly updates the students about the current scenario in the industry.
