Course Curriculum Overview

Because the college environment is very good or the faculty is very talented.student ratio- 1:10 Faculty is well qualified with PhD and master's degree and their teachings method are very easy they help us a lot

There are many internship opportunities on our campus. Many multinational companies approached our campus like DAR, Sentec, etc. These companies also provide further job opportunities in foreign countries like Egypt, Canada etc.

We have an intership in eight semesters. There are many intership opportunities provided in our college. Many firms like DAR, Sentec and many other MNCs have approached our college I will do the job for at least 1 yr

I am from the manager so I don't have any scholarship But there are scholarships available for students There are campus jobs available campus interviews are going to be held after our 5th yr Faculties have arranged for us

Campus Life

The annual fest held in our college is called Arambha. It is conducted during the month of February. Many activities are done like wall painting dancing singing games sports etc. There are many books available in our library. All master Architects' books are available...

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

NATA to The Studio table, Everything you need to know about B.Arch

To study architecture you need to opt for Science in +2. After clearing +2, there is an entrance exam named NATA and JEE Paper 2. These exams are specifically for people opting for architecture feild. The eligibility criteria for taking these exams is minimum 50% marks in 12th and 50% Physics , Chemistry and Maths combined, same goes for Jee Paper 2. After Giving entrance exams the results are declared and then we need to opt for colleges we are intrested in and fill in the admission form. After the process, cut off list is declared and then you get to know the clg you are eligible to apply for.
