Remarks
UG admissions are based on the score of the 12th class of a student, While PG admissions are based on the entrance exams (70%) and graduation marks (30%). There are around 50 seats for every stream in PG courses. There is also a provision for reservation in seats for admission. Usually, every stream admission cutoff remains low as 45% for reserved categories and 50% for general categories.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are knowledgable and well acquainted but again students don't attend the classes and this leads to both teacher's and students' absentee culture. The teaching method is not at all up to the mark as most of the teachers are Hindi medium and teach with old methodologies of teaching. Ratta culture is relied upon for passing the exams. Exams are a formality but they are held timely.
Internships Opportunities
There are several internships available in the college. Some are managed by private institutions and some by government bodies. Rajasthan governments. B.Ed. the internship is active here. Also, buddies for study internships are also there.
Placement Experience
I have seen minimal placements during my 4 years at this university. Private companies and institutions seldom come and hire students. The average package is also low. The study is here mainly to prepare for government competitive exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Studying in RU is cheap. Reserved category students do get scholarships and incentives both from the state government and the university itself. Central government schemes can also be availed. I availed central sector scholarship from the Government of India with an Incentivisation of 20k per year for two years. The fee is usually hiked after 8-9 years otherwise it remains the same more or less.
Campus Life
Annual fests are held once in a while. The last two years witnessed no annual fests. Political engagement is at the top during such events. The library in the university is up to the mark and it is well maintained with proper books and magazines. Extracurricular activities are also organized but again they are political in nature and boredom is at the top.
