Remarks

60% and above in HS and SS to apply Cut off for UK domicile was less than All over Indian candidate Reservations apply Walk-in admission and online application are available. From the academic year 2022, there are exams conducted for entrance, before that there was merit-based admission.j

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty-student ratio is 1:5 approx There are 2 semesters in an academic year with 2 exams per sem ie mid sem and end sem Exams are fairly good and relevant Teachers are helpful and resourceful This course has relevant subjects wrt to the field

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships and part-time are mostly founded by students themselves, college will allow hostellers to pursue some job part-time if that is relevant to their course. Many students are back at the hostel late at night which is possible with the permission of HOD

Placement Experience

The placement package is decent with different companies all around Dehradun and some outside the cities. The highest was 8L for MBA And BBA- 4L pa Campus placement is possible for most students. Banks and Deloitte were there too for management placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The ROI of studying here is beneficial, you invest little and if you have the caliber you can earn more than what you invested There is financial assistance too, and education loans can be sourced from outside without hassle. But there is a hassle in submitting fees while dealing with the accounting department of the university if you pay through a loan

The university studies centric more, no such fests are conducted after the pandemic, but its always in the student's hands to conduct such events with the coordination of faculty and college The student union is there in college with groups segregated for drama dance sports etc

Hostel Facilities

I opted for a hostel There are 3 girls hostel,2 in. Operation. The hostel is pretty fine with single accommodation and triple accommodation. mess food is decent and only vegetarian options are available, they provide eggs though. There are 4 floors with 58 rooms on each floor. They provide food 4 times/a day

Hostel Fee: INR 37800 per year

DBS: Best Business School of Uttarakhand

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

The placements are quite low, there are no great companies are coming the packages are also quite low like for bba its 3-4 lac p.a For mba its 6-7 lac p.a. Not very good companies are coming for recruitment especially finance companies.

Life at Doon Business School

Placement Experience:

DBS is ranked 4th for the placements all over north India. More than 120 companies participated in the placement week. Around 90% of the students of my batch got placed in their dream companies. The top recruiters who participated in the week were Amazon, Paytm, Asian Paints, Dabur, upgrade, Dabur, Godrej. Highest CTC offered was Rs.6 LPA. Various roles were offered like Business Development Officer, Junior Research Analyst, Derivatives Analyst, Business Development Manager.

Remarks:

Overall it's good the campus is awesome 1 thing i want to say for hostel. improve the outing system they only provide 2 hours outing and 3 hours. That's not enough as our college is far from the main city otherwise its good.

I chose this college over other colleges because it met my all the needs ,as it was a affordable college within my state,so it was fine decision for me or maybe not but it's okay.The other colleges I wanted to get in were Delhi University but it was hard decision as I had to move out my state and the cost of living is quite high there .I wanted to move abroad for my further studies but I don't have enough money or was unable to get scholarships. The collage is good for those who want to pursue there future in language department and other govt exams .

Actually after my high school I only and only applied for this university and I got selected in their entrance at first list . The university conducts its own entrance test it doesn't accepts cuet scores . Entrance test is of 100 marks which includes qu'es on 11-12 commerce .
