Course Curriculum Overview

5

1.This course is quite easy so I can give time to improve my skills that's what I like about this course. 2.The curriculum is not much good but yeah there are certain other aspects or subject which will teach u about real world problems like business communication etc. 3.Every students should get the opportunities for personalized trainings. 4.In 1st year difficulty level is easy but it will increase in 2nd and 3rd year.

Internships Opportunities

3

I heard about Wipro internship recently.. The stipend was around 25k the job role offered was for sales executive. The project which u had to work on was sales. There are ample of internship opportunities available I just have to apply when it comes.

Placement Experience

3

The Placement of my college aren't that good but still those who have skills will get good placement. So I will Focus on improving my skills in finance domain and get a good job. 1.Maybe from 5th or 6th semester students might be eligible for the campus placement. 2.Wipro 3.highest package was around 21lpa or something and average package might vary around 2 to 3 lpa. 4.Maybe 60 percent or something sorry but I don't know about this in much detail. 5.My plans is to went abroad for further studies or job .

Fees and Financial Aid

So my college name is Doon University it is located in dehradun and I am pursuing b.com(hons) from this college. Here I will be discussing about the fee structure of my course. As I am from a general category my per semester fee is around 20,000 so in a year it will be 40,000 it's for bcom( hons). This is total fee which includes all charges except registration fee. Fee Structure (i) Common Fee (irrespective of academic programmes): 1. Admission Fee (one time – non-refundable): Rs. 2000.00 2. Caution Money (One time-Refundable): Rs. 5000.00 3. Campus Life

4

The overall experience is quite good in terms of campus life as they have many social aspects like dance , singing, drama , sports and overall personality development clubs, where u can meet like minded people. The infrastructure is quite good. 1.Igas,mega startup event etc.. 2.There are wide range of books available in the library. 3.Overall facilitate are quite good. 4.Majority of the sports are there in the campus. 5.There are many social groups and clubs.

Admission

I chose this college over other colleges because it met my all the needs ,as it was a affordable college within my state,so it was fine decision for me or maybe not but it's okay. The other colleges I wanted to get in were Delhi University but it was hard decision as I had to move out my state and the cost of living is quite high there .I wanted to move abroad for my further studies but I don't have enough money or was unable to get scholarships. The admission process for my college is you have to give an entrance exam on the basis of merit you will get into it.There are specific exam for each course you want to get into. The cutoff is usually around above 70.

Faculty

4

The faculty is quite good they are nice people. Course structure is 3year and u can extend it to 4year if you want to do research in it.Exam system is like u have mid sem and end sem like 2 exam within 1 semester. Faculty students ratio is fine I guess although I don't know it in much detail but they are approachable. Faculty is good they will help you. I already told that there are 2 exams in one semester.

Night Life

3

Sorry but I don't know about the night life of the college I do not spend my night in the college but it will be quite peaceful. The best hangout spot is cafeteria. You can study at the library.. Hostel timings I do not know sorry.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of this course has everything that a commerce student must know, that's why I opted for this course. The exam is held at the end of a semester. The difficulty level lies between easy to moderate. The only improvement needed in this course is practical implementation of the course by offering internship in final year.
