You should have appeared for JEE Mains as it takes admission based on counseling organized by BCECE UGEAC as per JEE percentile. A student can avail of many types of Reservations as per their category.

Course Curriculum Overview

This branch has high scope in the government sector as well as the corporate sector. The faculty-student ratio is 1:30. All faculties are BPSC qualified. Semester exams are quite timely and if you are regular to class then Semester exams are easy to ace.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Core branches like electrical NTPC NBPDCL SBPDCL and Indian railway offer internships and sometimes students have to work on group projects under the supervision of professors. Non-core branches get offers from companies like Intel Microsoft, IBM, version, etc.

Placement Experience

From the early 7th semester a student can accept a job offer. Companies like Infosys Capgemini, IBM, etc. visit campus regularly. The highest package offered is 4200000 and the average is 700000. Almost all student gets into the corporate sector. I'll go for PSU.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost of the course is 50000 and you can avail of many types of scholarships and loans from different government and private firms like post-matric scholarships, student credit cards, etc. Internships generally offer a stipend.

Campus Life

The classroom is highly equipped due to funds from TEQIP 1 to TEQIP 3 . Techmiti is a science and tech fest. UMANG is a sports fest. The library is enriched with over thousands of books related to core subjects and other fields. There are clubs like Moxie and Junoon etc. running successfully on the campus.

The campus placements are moderately good in severe times of recession like this, though branches like civil , EE, Mechanical get placed very good but cse is facing some recession, still they are placed above average compared to other colleges The students become eligible for internships from their 5th semester i.e their 3rd year and for campus placements from 3rd and 4th year in 2024 one of the final year students from cse grabbed 2cr at google and the median and average placement package is decent here 90-95% students get placed in decent companies My plans are to explore software development with interets in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

Here placement opportunities are not too good like the tier 1 and tier 2 colleges but if you study well then you can surely get a good placement and also provide you a platform to excel your skills and qualify too much exams like gate drdo. From six or seven sem students are eligible for placement. Here some sales companies have visited in recent placement drives and offers the placement of 3 lpa to 22 students and also some companies like TCS Wipro hires people .on an average 55 to 60 percent students get placed. I will sit for the placement and also apply for some off campus opportunity as well and will give gate too so that I can get offer letter from PSUs

The students should also have technical skills for being in the college placement round. There are a large number of companies who visit the college for placement like Microsoft, Airtel, Samsung, etc. The highest package of this college till now is 15LPA and minimum is 5LPA. Almost 25-30% of students get placement.

I applied for UGEAC counselling and 1st attempt I got BCE bhagalpur in civil engineering but the college is highly affected by water logging which results to class suspension for almost 2-3 months on that college, which suddenly changed my mind and I decided to opt for MIT instead of this and thankfully in 2nd round of consellling I got MIT muzaffarpur. No, I haven't applied to any other college than MIT. My only preference was MIT Muzaffarpur. I have to do Engineering from Govt college, so I got to know about this college under Bihar Govt and was excited to join in. There's a common exam namely JEE Mains. Counseling to different colleges and branches depends on the score of JEE Mains.
