Remarks

College is good for civil engineering it has a healthy environment I took admission through JEE main I preferred this college because it was established in 1954 hence was a better option for me. I got to choose this college with the help of collegedunia.com.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose electrical engineering because I was interested in electronics and circuits the ratio of faculty and student in my college is 40:1. 2-3 faculties have a doctorate in their field and most of them have done PHD they teachers regularly and with good knowledge. It was easy to pass the exam of the semester if we do regular classes.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Internships Opportunities

IBM company come and roles offered through internship and project is related with the coding to create an app and to solve any technical issues and for ECE students project related with telecommunication.

Placement Experience

5th semester students become eligible for campus placement and generally TCS, Wipro offered for placement but almost 40% of students getting a placement and most of the students who take core branches preparing for government job and gate exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The SI of the institution is INR 2500 per year. There are office scholarships given by NSP. I got an average of rupees of 10000 per year from a scholarship. There is less opportunity for campus job but most of the students who want to get placement gets it easily from pool campus placement.

Campus Life

Fiesta which was held on 25th February. Most of the books available in the library. "Udgam" is the sports and extracurricular activities on the campus. There are so many clubs organised in our college such as the moxie technical club.

Hostel Facilities

The very favourable atmosphere in our hostel for study, high-speed wifi connection, and all facility is available in room whatever we needed. The meal quality is very healthy and the meal is given in menu way and fruit is also given in lunchtime. Lakshmi chowk the Brahmaputra, Muzaffarpur is our location of hostel and college also.

Hostel Fee: INR 14000 per year

Overall nice infrastructure and facilities.poor placements,but faculties are knowledgeable and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is but outdated. It doesn't prepare much for real world applications but can help in preparing for higher studies or competitive exams. 75% attendance is mandatory .Even one day before exams , we need to attend classes. That has a scope of improvement for the college to focus on skills rather than theory knowledge only.

I am really interested in my course . The fees is affordable. The placement opportunity is good as well as here is the environment for government exam / engineering service exams . Different well qualified faculties are present in each branch . Every subject has faculty member. Each and every faculty is well educated . The minimum qualification to become the faculty of this college is Mtech . The faculty has passed GATE exam /BPSC exam . The term exams are timely , midsems are taken 1 month before the end sem exams . The level of the semester exams is sometimes moderate or tough . Students should have the depth knowledge of the subject .

I applied for UGEAC counselling and 1st attempt I got BCE bhagalpur in civil engineering but the college is highly affected by water logging which results to class suspension for almost 2-3 months on that college, which suddenly changed my mind and I decided to opt for MIT instead of this and thankfully in 2nd round of consellling I got MIT muzaffarpur. This is the best btech college in Bihar as a state btech college other college are not as good as this and here fee is too low because of government college, just give jee and according to marks u get bcece rank and then counselling happens online and the choice it as top priority u get it. 90 + should be the percentile for a decent branch...Read More

No, I haven't applied to any other college than MIT. My only preference was MIT Muzaffarpur. I have to do Engineering from Govt college, so I got to know about this college under Bihar Govt and was excited to join in. There's a common exam namely JEE Mains. Counseling to different colleges and branches depends on the score of JEE Mains.
