Remarks
I was admitted into the college through Calicut University registration. I got the college through a merit seat. Sree Krishna college was my priority and I got in by the second allotment. Due to Covid, the registration date was extended more than usual that year. My preferred course was B.com finance and eligibility was +2. There wasn't any interview or pre-entrance exam. As I was in a general category I didn't get any reservation benefits. But our college has a community quota for SC and ST students.
Course Curriculum Overview
My passion is to be an entrepreneur. So I wished to have my bachelor's in commerce. From the experience of my family, Sree Krishna college was the best college in my locality that offered a bachelor's in commerce. Our class infrastructure is the best and the faculty consists of well-trained and educated professors. Our college strictly conducts two internal exams and other small tests before the sem exams. As our college is under Calicut University the sem exams aren't conducted periodically due to Covid pandemic.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got into the college through merit. There aren't any semester fees for me. But our college also has management seats with semester fees that vary according to the courses. The only fees I had to pay were admission fees of Rs 5680 and the university exam fesses along with a small PTA fund. The college only provides direct scholarships to Sanskrit students. But they will provide full assistance for both national and state-level. scholarships through the college office.
Campus Life
Our college is an aided college and it has various clubs and volunteer programs such as NCC, NSS, red cross club, eco club, etc... Celebrations in our college are a blast and are mainly conducted by the student political party SFY. Every special occasion such as Onam, valentine's day, college fest, and fresher's day are conducted grandly. Our college also has a well-trained sports group, who were admitted to the college through sports quota. These are two sports grounds and a gym facility in our college. About Library, there is the main library and another small library for every department.
