Remarks

No entrance exam for admission to my college. The admission is based on the twelfth exam. We have to apply to the TNGASA.in site for admission. If you are selected you will a call from the college. And you should attend counseling. The minimum cutoff in the general category is 90 percent.

Course Curriculum Overview

I selected statistics because it provides wide job opportunities in any sector. Statistics have a bright future. Almost every faculty in my department have completed their doctorate in statistics. My department is one of the most disciplined departments in the college. The semester exam will be conducted every 6 months with an internal exam and a practical exam. The faculty provides a good interactive class so it is very easy to pass the exam.

My college provides campus placement for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The average salary is around 25000. Around 50 companies will be there in campus placement. About forty percent of students get campus placement. Bata , KPMG, TCS, Infosys,EY and Delloite . I am planning to do a postgraduate in Statistics.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course Fees B.S- 1,270 (1st Year Fees) The fee is very nominal in our college. students from not so well backgrounds could also study very well here without any problem. The college also provides jobs to us. there are very reputed companies coming to our college on placemnet drive. many students in my college receive scholarships every year.

Campus Life

Trust me presidency is never all study and no life. Instead, students are given the utmost privileges in the presidency, and they are always enrolled in some activity or the other. Be it sports or fun time. There are many students having extra skills. They make the college entertaining for other students.

Good Learning Environment But need more Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bsc computer science because I'm interested in IT jobs and want become a developer. The syllabus is useful for real world learning and it covers important basics. i found subjects like c programming very helpful for understanding core concepts. the curriculum is decent but it needs more practical sessions and better lab facilities. the software and systems in the lab should also be updated. we follow a semester system, and the exams test both theory and practical knowledge. overall the course is good, but more hands on training would make it even better.

Never go behind the hype giving by agencies

The outer syllubus of curiculam is good , but th ecore is very few, and the real time parctical knowledge is very week as compareed with the hype t. A comprehensive review of Geology Department in Presidency college Chennai
