Remarks

The eligibility of getting admission is to have a 50 percent in the 12th class. The application form is available on the college website. Reservations for sc/st are present. The admission process is smooth you just have to fill out the form and submit it to the college, pay the fees and you are ready for admission.

I choose the course because I have an interest in journalism and want to become a news journalist. Faculty: student ratio is 1:50. Qualification of teachers is Ph.D. in journalism. There are a total of 2 internal exams and one external exam per semester. It is not that difficult to pass the exam if you have studied well.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are affordable and college is good for journalism. The fees are 1 lakh 20 thousand approx. The scholarship is for students good at sports, a good percentage, and siblings in college. I haven't seen a fee hike in my academic year if you need a financial scholarship you can talk to college reception.

Campus Life

The campus life is great. The annual fest of the college is Pulse, which happens one time a year in which artists come from outside it generally happens in January, Mark fest is also a college fest in which stalls of clothing and gaming, unique foods are present, and the fresher party is for new students. All the books are present in large quantities fully air-conditioned library is there where students can come can study during college hours. students can find all the books there and there is also an online library where students can study books online. classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Smart boards are also present, facilities are highly educated and they teach with full enthusiasm. sports faculties are outstanding and they have all the equipment for students. students can play any sports outdoor or indoors everything is available. there is a sports teacher which is highly educated in his field. there are many clubs in college like a social club, theatre club, dance club, singing club, environment club, and e-cell.

Very good facilities and infrastructure, helpful faculty and decent placements

Placement Experience:

80% students are placed through DME with a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA on an average which is quite decent for a fresher entering the industry. The top recruiting are for placements are Bharat Express, PR Guru, Amar Ujala, Dynamite News, T.H.E.M.E.S. Over 90% of the students were placed for internship in Amar Ujala, PR Guru, Aaj Tak, ABP News and Doordarshan. Top roles offered are journalist, content writer, anchor, film maker, and back end roles like video editor, graphic designer and many more. I personally plan to go into video editing after getting the degree.

Good experience with dme

Placement Experience:

Placement for Bajmc at dme are limited compared to some other professional courses. Students usually become eligible for placement opportunities or internships in the final year. There are not many direct placement with major media houses although students sometimes get industry exposure through sessions or visits .

DME THE BEST MEDIA COLLEGE

My main aim is to become an automobile journalist that is the aspect that influenced me to choose this course. Till the date i dont feel that improvements are needed in curriculam and teaching methods. the curriculum is really good and well made in terms of relevance as it tends to include all the needed industry skills along with a dedicated practical project so students can apply the skills simultaenously. the exams are also easy to prepare for, there arent many in terms of frequency and it allows the students to study as well as participate in other activities.

My honest experience at Delhi Metropolitan Education

Placement Experience:

Placements of our colleges and mediocre. From 6th semester students become elegible for campus placement. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Placement depends upon the students applying for placement through college. Many students gets internships or jobs by themselves before even reaching placement cell.

DME- An institution unfiltered

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement during their final year of college. DME offers several different companies that it has tie ins with for placements to students such as Gadgets 360, Aaj Tak, Myntra, PTI and D&P. 70-80% students get a good placement package. My personal plan following graduation is to pursue my higher education in correspondence with employment.

My experience of Amity was great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself was nothing out of the ordinary material, it teaches you the basics of the field but the faculties were pretty good and helped us understand not just the basic but a little more so that we could actually be able to work in the environment once we get there. Also they organise workshops which was mandatory for all the students without any extra charge to learn from professional what to do and how to do it best. We also used to get projects which actually helped alot in learning with practice the theory.

To tell you the truth, I did not know about the college, I had applied after seeing the package and had seen the reviews, but this college is not so bad, something is better than nothing.
