RIE Journey From A to Z

This institution provides admission in 4yr B.Sc.B.Ed, 4yr B.A.B.Ed, 2 yr B.Ed, 2yr M.Ed programs. The admission process is not much difficult. You have to fill out two forms one Admission form and another one is Hostel Form (if you want a hostel) and if you are a day scholar then only one i.e. Admission form. If you want Admission to this institution then you have to give entrance exam known as NCERT RIE CEE(Common Entrance Examination) which is held offline every year in the month of July -August. The application process for this exam usually starts in the month of May and ends in mid -June. The application form will provided on the official website of RIE CEE . There is also an application fee of 900/- for GEN/OBC and 450/- for SC/ST/PH. Eligibility criteria for this exam are to be Intermediate/12th Standard passed from any recognized Board.

I am from the science stream thus I got admission to B.Sc.B.Ed 4yr integrated course. This is a teaching-oriented course. Here student-faculty ratio is about 25:1. Faculties are well educated here and completed their education from reputation institutions some are from IISc Bangalore, IIT Gandhinagar, BHU etc. Term exams and final exams are held from time to time but due to covid pandemic, there is a delay in the exam execution from 2 -3 months for this year. The exams are not too difficult to pass. You can easily pass the exams.

Internships are started at the end of the 3rd year and in the 4th year. During the 3rd year there are 15 days pre Internships programs. And in the 4th year, there is 3 month internship program held in different JNVs and KVs. Students are placed outside state schools also for Internships.

The overall Fees of the study here are divided into two parts: Academic fees and Hostel fees. The Academic Fees for the first year are 13350 for every course and hostel fees have to pay in two instalments of 18000 each. For scholarship assistance, it is based on your previous year's exam performances, class attendance and family income. Placements are also held by the placement committee here. Many students get jobs in their placements.

Campus life is very beautiful. The Institute location is very beautiful with Aravalli hill ranges around the college and a beautiful lake known as Anasagar beside the college. Clubs and houses are being made and elections are also held for the student council. University games are held every year from Nov -Dec. Freshers Party is given to the newly entered batch. For parents and admitted students, there is an orientation program is organized in starting of their batch year for course details, their benefits in future, the scope of the jobs and many more. There are societies which involve students mainly and some societies are also in which teachers also are involved, here named as Bhugyan Society, SMEC, and Poetic Muse.

Hostel facilities are quite good than any other colleges . A typical room of the hostels have two almirahs, a fans , two beds , two tables, two chairs , two tubelights and rooms are of capacity of two students. Mess meal are enough for stomach satisfaction but if you are coming for tasty meal then you are getting wrong. I got room in Tilak Hostel one of the main boys hostel here . Proper sanitation of bathroom and toilets , hostel galleries also done daily by workers here.
