Remarks

I took admission by clearing my entrance exam organized by the college. About 3000 students applied for 165 seats. We can apply for the admission form on the college's official website, it's charges are around 700-800. Reservations are provided for OBC, SC, ST, specially-abled, freedom fighter families, employee families, other state quotas and sports quotas.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

B.sc agriculture provides a wide range of subjects to study as well as a career in different fields. Here the faculties are very good, and punctual and they used to interact with the students frequently. All the teachers are appointed by the commission and all of them have an excellent way of teaching. Exams are conducted very strictly, there are two semesters per year, and each semester has one mid-term and one end sem exam. after every two months approx.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are rarely available in agricultural courses. The students join different skill development courses like bee keeping, sericulture pood preservation etc. We did a training course on food preservation where we learned about making pickles, candy, squash etc

Placement Experience

3.5

Final year ( 8th semester) students are eligible for placements. Plenty of companies like Axis bank, ICICI Bank etc visit college. Most of the banks recruit students for agricultural posts like agriculture field officers with packages of 8 - 10 lakhs. Most of the students are not interested in jobs after UG they prefer it after PG completion. I will also go for PG first.

Fees and Financial Aid

With very minimal fees there are no hidden charges in college. A student just needs to think about his personal expenses. There are four scholarship provided by the college SAKSHAM by UP Government Krishi Mandi Parishad 3000/ month Prachin chatra parisad chhatravritti 3000 College management scholarship according to fees paid by students.

Campus Life

4

There are two main events in the college Rajarshi jayanti in September ( jayanti of college founder ) Foundation week in November, it's a one-week series of competitions of sports events and cultural events. All the important books and journals are easily accessible. Classes are a bit average. This college is one of the richest colleges in sports listing many Olympians and international sports people for India. ABVP is active on the college campus no other political entity or group is active on the campus.

When the students come in the last semester which is the 8th semester then only they are eligible for campus placement. There are a number of companies that provide placements. I don't know about the package since I had not faced any interviews till now for the placements and about 40 to 50% of the students get placement. After completing my course if I get any good University for Masters then I will go for that and if not I will prefer to do a job.
