Good Campus life with great facilities

I first applied for the CUCET exam(cucet.cuchd.in) for which it cost 500. They then conducted proctored exam which have questions related to which stream I choose for the 11th. After that, I got the scholarship.

Most of the faculty we got in the 1st semester are really good but then from the 2nd semester there was an increase in less experienced faculties. But every faculty made sure that every student get equal opportunity in every matter.

Students can apply for internships after 1st year. There are very less opportunities for students who do not have any other skills. The minimum package which students get is 2.5 LPA. The percentage does not matter at the time of applying for on-campus placements as long the CGPA doesn't go below 6 CGPA.

There is no fee hike. But every year there is a significant difference in fee structure for a new student compared to the existing batches. Any scholarship that the student has earned will be revoked if the student fails to maintain 75% of SGPA and once removed it cannot be reinstated. There are more chances of getting an internship and a well-paid stipend if the student works in DSW(Department of Student Welfare) but the student has to work for almost the whole day and sometimes nights. There are not so Jobs available on campus if the student doesn't have other skills.

There are many cultural activities which are conducted regularly on campus. Students get Duty Leave if the events overlap with the Class Lecture timings. There are many clubs in which students can take part like environment club, tech clubs, robotics club, etc which are open for students of any department. They also run a WhatsApp group to communicate with students' queries. There are also websites like back overflow society which help students to take part in events. Students can also work at the backend of these websites for posts like blog writer, graphics designer, security analyst, etc.

Boys hostels are equipped with AC ducts, ethernet ports for internet connection, beds with inbuilt storage, study table with 2 racks to keep books, godrej almirah, fans. AC cannot be turned on/off manually as it managed by hostel warden. Only Zakir hostel have spacious room even though it is a 5 seater room. NC(Nek Chand) hostel are not at all spacious but have the same facilities. The quality of hostel food is good but sometimes there are ups and downs. There are showers available in bathroom. Students can apply for hostel from the portal which will be given to students after admission. There are some PGs available from 0 km distance to the college. Many students prefer flats which is quite far from college.
