The courses available in st.Philomena college are BCA BSC BSW BBA BCOM BA. The application forms are available in the office room. Anyone can ask for the application form from anybody inside the office. The application form will cost nothing. Reservations are provided for those who are eligible. The admission process is well managed.

I chose BSC as I was interested in research and programs. The lecturers are well versed in their subjects. They give a lot of support for every students. The lecturers are well qualified. The term exams are once in 6 months and which will be easy because of the guidance of our lecturer

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for the campus selection. There are a few companies that come for the selection. There is 60 percent of the students who are getting selected in campus selection. I would like to join for the master's degree in our college.

The fees in our college are very less compared to some other colleges. The fee payment is available in both online and also offline modes. The fees can be paid in two terms. The scholarship available is SSP minority scholarships, etc

Fests are conducted by every department of the college. They are conducted in August or September. There is a wonderful library in our college which consists of enormous numbers of books. Sports are very good in our college. Curricular activities are conducted every Saturday.

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

My plan after finishing my Bsc ,i will opting for MSc Biotechnology, then a PhD.I will become a professor.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
