St. Philomena College, Puttur

I applied for 2 colleges namely philomena and ambika. I got admission in philomena and ambika had high fee structure. Admission criteria involves 50%+ marks. Admission process was pretty smooth. There is fee deduction for good scorers.

I chose this course because i love zoology, i.e animals. Faculty student ratio is 1:5 which is pretty good. The faculty members are highly qualified teachers. The teaching methids are so good. There were exams for every 3 months which made us prepared for the finals. There were frequent revisions so it was easy to pass.

Many companies provided internship such as skillvertex, sunderella, slice, fampay etc. There were roles offered like managers, executives, employees, assistants etc.. There were huge projects where we got a chance to exhibit our work.

The fees is reasonable. 60000 per year is average fees in any college. There was fee compensation for rank holders. Scholarships are available from state and central governments. Thise who wish to study at low cost, st. Philomena is the place!

Annual fests are conducted every year, whether college days or sports days or any special day. They are conducted from nov - jan. Library is just large and perfect with over 20000 books and daily magazines and newspapers. Sports is given importance and extra activities like dancing, yoga, karate is also available. There are many social groups like eco club, fine arts club etc for interested students.
