Remarks

A very good college for those who want to pursue their career in public health. Our college has a good digital library and online subscriptions of more than 400 journals which are accessible for both the faculties and students as well.Every facility is available within the campus. We do not have to go out for our daily needs.Faculty members are also very supportive and at the same time very helpful.

Entrance Preview

This program is only for MBBS Doctors. Our college conducts entrance tests for the admission into this course. As there is a limited seat so they conduct personal interview and group discussions as well. After qualifying in all theses criteria one can get admission in this course. My score was good in the entrance exam and also I successfully cleared the next 2 rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

AFIH is a three-month full-time course regulated by DGFASLI.This is a mandatory qualification for Doctors working in hazardous Industry.Other Industries also prefer to hire AFIH doctors. This course covers the basics of industrial health, occupational disease, toxicology, environmental health and other related matters. It equips doctors to deal with any occupational health issues.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, various scholarship facilities are available for almost all students.Meritorious students receive a good amount of scholarships from the concerned authority of our college. This is very essential for the students because this can give them more confidence to show a good result in future.Reserved category students also able to get caste scholarships during their academic years from our college. One of my classmates receives this scholarship .

Hostel Facilities

4

My stay in the hostel days were the best days of my life. But I wish I could stay more days.As My course suggests I stayed there only for 3 months. But In these days, I collect lot of memories from here.Hostel facility is very good.Everything we got that we used in our homes.Very tight security in both boys and girls hostels.24 hours water facility for us.And main important thing is that there is no power cut.

Faculty

4

Excellent faculties here at IIPHG campus. All are the Doctors by profession. They all are so lovely and so charming that we never have to complain regarding our academic class. The methods of teaching us are very innovative. They prefer to give us a practical knowledge and try to explain the things in that way rather than a bookish knowledge.I am always very much grateful to them.
